My New Car - 2016 Subaru WRX

It's been another year Nick. :)

We could use some photo shoot pics and mods list. :hungry:

And, is that a sound clip of your exhaust in the videos?

Killer set of wheels Nick ! Congrats and good luck ..... ...

WOW does time fly!

I will get some photos soon....right now the car is parked in the garage at home. :) And yes that is my WRX in the sound clip at the beginning and ending of each McKee's 37 video. :xyxthumbs:

Mod list (off the top of my head)
  • Stage 2 tune via Phat Botti
  • Cobb Accessport
  • ETS Catless Turbo Back Exhaust
  • Process West Verticooler
  • IAG TGV Deletes
  • 3 Port Boost Control Solenoid
  • Perrin Short Shifter
  • STI Pitch Stop Mount
  • STI Transmission Mount
  • 18" wheels from Limited model

There might be more.

I've gone through the OEM Dunlops (awful tires), a set of Michelin Pilot Super Sports, and now I'm running a set of Michelin Pilot Sport 4S.

After two years and 36,000 miles, I started looking for a "beater" to drive to work a couple days a week. I'd like the WRX to last until a new hatch comes out in a couple years.

I checked Facebook and Craigslist daily, looking for a deal of a lifetime; something that was FUN, RELIABLE, and CHEAP to maintain. Being able to sell it for the price I paid for it (or close to it) was also very important to me. I finally found a 2007 Honda Fit that I couldn't pass up.

Last week I gave it a go-over with McKee's 37 360 (via FLEX 3401) followed by a coat of McKee's 37 Trademark Carnauba Paste Wax.

The car is a hoot to drive! And surprisingly roomy.

The previous owner purchased the vehicle in 2009 with 27,000 miles on it. It was her daily driver for 7 years, until she purchased a 2016 Honda Accord Sport. Her husband turned it into a project car (was planning on doing a K-swap), but that was put on hold because his wife got pregnant!

Driving the FIT to work 3-4 days a week really makes me appreciate my WRX that much more.

Congrats on the new DD Nick! Sounds like it was well taken care of and you made it look like new!

How do you like the 4S's so far? I've got Super Sports on my daily and have loved them. My friend just put a set of 4S's on his car but hasn't put many miles on yet.

And, as one would expect - Cars look Fantastic! :dblthumb2:
