The Next REVOLUTION: The BigFoot Nano w/ iBrid Technology

Is there no way we can be given a ROUGH indication of costs?

I mean over here in the UK we seem to pay a premium for Rupes machines I have NO idea why, as we're (UK and Italy) are in Europe so the logistics arnt as involved as sending units to the USA.

Anyway, love your machines, I have the 15 the mini and I REALLY WANT THIS!

Note: The 30 mm pads will fit the LD-30 Orbital Polisher and the 50 mm pads will fit the TA-50 Random Orbital Polisher perfectly. 30 mm = 1.2 inches / 50 mm = 2.0 inches for us American folk.

Speaking of pads, the Nano will come with both blue coarse and yellow polishing foams. 4 of each color 70 mm pads and 5 of each color 50 mm pads. Additionally, 100 ml sizes of the blue Zephir Coarse Compound and yellow Keramik Fine Compound will make polishing simple and easy.

Todd,

Can you please clarify the bolded items above; are we getting 30mm & 50mm pads or 50mm & 70mm pads?

I'm assuming there's a typo and it's 30mm & 50mm backing plates with 50mm & 70mm foam pads.

PLEASE TAKE MY MONEY!! I can't wait for this to come out!! IMO there is no other tool out there in the market like this.

Incredible product and way ahead of the competition on this one.....Kudos to Rupes.

This is the kind of stuff I was hoping to see at SEMA. Innovation at it's finest. Can't wait to get my hands on one of these :)

I just want to recognize and thank Todd for taking the time to reply to all of our questions in the middle of SEMA day #1.

Having been to SEMA last year and seeing first hand how much of a zoo the show floor is, it's pretty remarkable that Todd is stepping away from the demands of the Rupes booth to answer all of our questions.

So, Thank You Todd! Rupes has clearly hit a home run with the BigFoot Nano :)

I was waiting for a smaller 3401 for those more complex and detailed areas, but this looks like it will fit my needs much more.

Now that's innovation from a company that actually makes tools.

I havn't had that itch in a while for a new machine, I do now. While the other companies are trying to catch up with them, Rupes goes and does this. Nice job Rupes!!!

This new machine looks to be nothing short of amazing! I'm already thinking of all the things I can use this on that would make life so much easier. Nice work Rupes, it looks like you've knocked this one out of the park, and I can't wait to get my hands on it!

looks like I'll finally own a Rupes when this comes out.

I'm guessing that kit goes for min of $599 retail...
The Holy Grail of polishers..
This is a game changer....I want that kit sooo badly...
Hold on, I gotta put Santa on speed dial.

"The RUPES BigFoot Nano allows the user to switch between rotary, 3mm random orbital, and 12mm random orbital actions in just seconds."

Im the MAN :buffing:

This is way cool, Rupes definitely stepped it up with this nifty tool, great job Todd!

Thank you, but of course the mad scientists at RUPES in Milan deserve all of the credit!

okay... this just made my bigfoot 12 look useless lol >.< Can't wait to get my hands on one of these!

Nah the 12 is still just as amazing as it always has been!

I honestly don't have a clue, but I will see what I can dig up.

Complete typo! The pads are 30 mm and 50 mm. Sorry about the confusion.

Score !!!! Rupes SEMA Show Stopper !!!!!

So far the reaction has been incredible on the SEMA floor.

Thank you. We are well aware that our team is doing the engineering for a number of other companies who simply follow the path we blaze. We didn't want to just hit a homerun, but rather a grand slam. :dblthumb2:

We cannot wait for you to get your hands on one either!

This brings back bad memories of my trips to the dentist!😫

Honestly, the thanks goes to RUPES for allowing me the privilege of doing such things! On behalf of all of us, you are very welcome!

We are glad to help out!

If you find his number let me know!!! My son has been asking for a lot of stuff!

Looks very impressive but most importantly, useful!! Batteries kinda remind me of ones used by Makita.
