So a few weeks ago I detailed a new BMW 750Li executive for a customer, here:

He was so happy that he asked me to do his 2012 Alpina B7 as well! I've been looking forward to this for a while now and just finished it up. We agreed on a full detail and finishing it off with a coating.
Upon arrival it was pretty trashed. Very dirty and obviously hadn't been washed in a while.

Wheels and barrels are clean after removing all of the tar and leftover wheel weight adhesive.

Tires were scrubbed next to ensure they were 100% clean:

Wheels were then coated with CQuartz DLUX. Here they are after curing for 24 hours.

Now onto the paint. Once I washed the car I realized the driver's side was covered in tar! Not to worry, Tarminator made quick work of it and in a couple hours it was all gone!

The paint was in fairly good shape overall. After looking over the car it had been detailed previously by a California Detailing company. However, that was over 2 years ago and it was definitely due for another. The protection on the paint was completely degraded.
There were light swirls and water marks on the car. I tried to photograph some but they were hard to capture. It had obviously seen some harsh brushed car washes as there were deeper rids and scratches and swirls on the horizontal panels. I settled on polishing the car in a one step on the vertical panels and a two step on the horizontal panels.
CarPro Reflect with LC White Hybrid pads were used on the sides. Then FG400 on LC Orange Hyrbid on the horizontal panels followed by Reflect and a White pad.

After polishing the car it was wiped down twice with Wolfgang Perfekt Paint Prep. Then it was coated with Wolfgang Uber Ceramic Coating. This is the 4th car I've coated with it and still love it as much as I did the first time. Super easy to use and gives great results. I have it on my personal Tahoe and it's holding up well so far!
