Hey everyone! I'm new here and new to detailing forums. This is my first one and I'm glad I joined. I've been detailing on the side for a couple years and recently have decided to start my own detailing business. I recently had the pleasure of doing a full 2 stage paint correction as well as full interior detail on this beautiful Jaguar XFR-S.

This poor car was in pretty bad shape for only 18k miles. The owner took it through one to many automated car washes.. Anyway here is the process (I forgot to take pics of the interior..DOH!)

Tools and Equipment used:
Prewash with Chemical Guys Foam Canon
Two Bucket Method Wash
Paint was prepped/decontaminated with a Nano Skin Autoscrub
Flex 3401
6" Chemical Guys Orange Medium Cutting Pad
AMMO Leveling Fluid. I started with M105, but it hazes to much.
AMMO Jewelers Polish
Zaino Z5 Show Car Polish/Wax. Applied with Griots Garage DA and 6 inch Red waxing pad.
Turtle Wax Chrome Polish
Glass was polished with Griots Garage Glass Polish and Glass Polishing Pad.
Griots Garage Wheel and Tire cleaners
Dupray Tosca Steam Cleaner
Various Bores Hair Brushes

Welcome to the forum!

Its pretty cool your first post is having done such a rare car, even more rare with the EVO-type rear wing, I believe its a $3500 option IIRC!

You did a great job on the paint but my GOD how does it ever get to that point, I'll never get it but for owners like that there's people like you OP!

Very, very nice. My last idea for the B posts was Diamondite "Plasti-Care" aerosol. What did you use?

Thank you! Some people just don't care as much as we do. And you are exactly right. What would they do without us?..

Thank you. For the B posts you can either put a small drop of compound on the pad, or you can do it with a dry cutting pad (no compound) and polish them that way. Just set the machine speed around 3 and you should be good to go.

Got it, thx.

Jaguar is one of my favourite luxury carmakers, especially such sport Jag like this XFR-S that you made look gratifying (even if I prefer XJR).
In this category I would prefer E 63 AMG over XFR-S but if had to chose between S 63 AMG against XJR I would go for XJR of course. It got inside/out design that whatever Mercedes would do, will never get close enough. I am not a fan of Porsche, BMW, Audi at all.
I think the Jag paint you have detailed is called French Racing Blue, it now looks as it sounds. Another exclusive blue Jag colour I like is called Kyanite Blue Pearl, really very special paint must see.
