Got this client from a local car meet a few months ago, and had to do a few reschedules due to fan issue, then a snow storm.

received a wash/iron-x/clay
cleaner wax on all painted surfaces/jambs/wheels
carpro essence
topped with reload

Customer was absolutely blown away with the results, and i was quite impressed myself. the car didnt seem "dirty" to begin with, but when you look at the before/after it's a DRASTIC difference!

I wouldn't call myself a "mustang fan", but i've done about 6 local mustang owners' cars, plus a local performance shop shelby GT500. I'm waiting for another client to get his car back from being built, it's an absolute monster that dyno'd 1236rwhp.

enoug talk, enjoy the pictures!

Where's AGOatemywallet? He'd Love this thread. Lol.

So why cleaner wax before Essence?

I did a test spot with essence and the pad filled up dark so I tried cleaner wax over the hood, then another test spot and pad stayed clean.

I was after some serious gloss with this car! And I'm always found to try new things. And cleaner wax is cheaper than essence, so the extra half hour was worth it imo!

These Mustangs are starting to grow on me. The rear quarter back and the tail light/rear end look awesome. The hood and front end are just a little off, can't put my finger on it.

Your work looks very good. More pictures next time:) I can't wait to use my iron-X on my white car. Not quite as cool as a Supercharged Mustang. Mines a Toyota Sienna:(

Joking about the pictures of course. But, do you have any photos of the supercharged engine?

i didnt take any photos of the engine bay, but i'll get some and post them up!

if you check other threads i've started, i believe i posted pictures of a black shelby gt500 i did! i'll go look for the direct link. edit: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B7qGR3hzLQiOTUpFV09IVkNHUkk never posted pictures on here, but here's a 830whp shelby i did for Procom Racing

Nice! Amazing how much of a difference you end up seeing on white vehicles.

yes, absolutely!

i was quite surprised with the difference of using the cleaner wax first, following up with essence. it made a bit of a difference. probably due to essence being able to work longer/cleaner creating a more refined finish.

next time i'll take more photos of test spots and such.

Very nice!!! We needed an engine shot! lol

Being how I work on lots of local car enthusiasts vehicles I tend to not take engine bay shots, as owners get weird about it.
I texted the owner, and asked him for an engine bay shot!

Looks awesome! I like the idea of cleaning the paint first and especially with white. Obviously it made a difference after your test spot and i'm always looking for ways to get white to look as good as other colors...it's a challenge for me.

Here's a photo from summer time of engine bay.

Pretty sure I'll have him coming to me for a good engine bay detail for show season. And Polish up the blower a bit!

He's bringing me his new acquired weld wheels to freshen then up for him.

I'm all about stepping out of my comfort zone and pushing my abilities. This new extra step yielded amazing difference, and made this car my favorite white car to date!

Great job! Thanks for sharing the pics.
not a problem, will likely make a few more threads.

Looks Great!
Thank you for the kind words!
