My friend got 2 bikes like this one 1979 BMW R 45 specifications and pictures (in all he owns 4 BMW motorcycles), the other one is the same 1981, he is selling both & buys bigger at 1000ccm classic BMW.
He was 1Y abroad in Equatorial Guinea (don't ask me what he did there) says when I came back, I started the bike from first kick & went straight to see Sharky  even before seeing his parents.
He never cleans his bikes, he says I am only buying gas & ride.
Basically that's the story. Aha, BMW is all original, only badges were stolen he already got the new ones plus extras like back light which he replaced with something cheap while abroad, baskets & more original stuff. This BMW & 1981 were bought in some small museum in Germany, 46.000km on the speedometer from 1979, that's it.

The plastic parts & gum was faded, oxidized speedometer, dirty wheels & engine, exhaust. So I restored it all, cleaned the wheels & engine, waxed the paint (it's called Hell Red) added carburettor cleaner & sent him to Hell.

Thank you my friend, bike really works good, especially after gas additive :dblthumb2:

when I came back home his friend calls, Sharky you made a great job on Boxer, get me please good oil & additives package for 2009 Mini Cooper S, I am running low on both.
This is how it works in the neighbourhood, no artificial friends like on Facebook's stupid intelligence algorithm but only real faces, nice people, good friends just like on Autogeeeeek$ :dblthumb2:

Always on time illegal in TLV Daniel's VIP Taxi, serving Old Port of Tel Aviv & nearby criminal neighbourhoods :dblthumb2:, word of mouth advertising only, strict face control but once you will be accepted - you'll get addicted to Danny he is like drugs, few of my friends I recommended are fascinated with him, one says since I met Danny, I almost stopped using my cars for the city.

So what did you do for the rims other than IronX? Bike looks great.

What a great vintage BMW motorcycle Marc! Very cool!

One day I hope to take a ride in that illegal taxi with you and Danny! LOL

Hello Shark Politur,

Love the old ugly boxers, such sweet rides, smooth, reliable, virtually unkillable engines. Good work for just an hour sir. Warms the heart to see it maintained.

Steve

So what did you do for the rims other than IronX? Bike looks great.

The bike is in very good condition as you see, he wanted it to be clean & look vintage, so I sprayed Sonax wheel cleaner on snowflakes magnesium wheels & engine, because bike was for 1Y parked outside under cover, that's why front wheel got few waterspots that didn't want to get cleaned, strange but back wheel didn't get any waterspots, I simply splashed it with water & it became very clean, acid free wheel cleaner was enough to get it back to normal.
Speedometer trim & other plastic/gum parts I restored with The Treatment super thick silicone (the best product (for me) to restore faded exterior trim, it looks like honey, you simply apply it & old plactics become like new in 1 second. When everybody looks for new miracle technology, Sharky restores old plastics (wood) with honey
Paint I waxed with The Treatment carnauba wax & Simoniz dark red wax, clear speedometer & windshield I used Autosol metal polish (finish with carnauba wax to give a gloss), also on exhausts Autosol.
At least this is what I remember what I did, maybe there were some other things going on around that I can't remember exactly this moment :hungry:

Steve

:welcome: to Sharkpolitur virtual reality Club, why 1 hour? 45 minutes indeed

I see you are hiding there a bike as well.

After I have told him how to take care of all his BMW bikes, he came to show Sharky his own ShowN'Shine & asked me nicely to polish & wax his custom perspex, speedometer (skeleton holding forks Made in Germany, perspex Made in USA of the highest quality used in Aerospace, I forgot the company name) & Montego blue metallic finish on 2014 BMW R1200R.
Another occasion to use my private label car care. The bike cost in Israel about 30,000 Euros.

He is ready for the Summer kick for sure https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eNJvel1grPA&nohtml5=False

Great color Marc! The metallic looks great after the polishing! The windscreen is also super clear!

A great testament to your name brand of chemicals! You need to name them!!! Shark power! LOL

Thanks my dear friend,
very special & hard paint I seen it only once before on Mercedes S500 AMG-Designo such a high density of flakes.
Not all BMW Motorrad got this kind of paint, Montegoblau quality is made to last forever, also dark blue is a very brave colour got much more style than black.

Shark Power? I am not there yet visionary as I said it's a riot to develop, now I am working on Nanochrome for all metals cleaner, polish, protector, sealant, wax, lotus effect...he forwarded me some guys who pay money :xyxthumbs: for me to play with their chrome plated parts, I am testing it, the mix will be ready soon I hope (there are 2 options, one will only be wiped after polishing with microfiber, the other needs a shampoo & wax bath for perfection as there will be nano coating that will leave slight film that will stick like a glue to chrome & will be completed only after bath so not to overpolish the finish with a microfiber, aha, it will also work as a scratch remover clear coat safe)

Take a look:

And the biggest advantage of Sharkpolitur Aristocratic Car Care it's all in 300ml aluminium bottles, the dream is to have all my products in such packaging, the raw materials for Nanochrome is from England & Germany.

Another Racing Red piece comes from the same family, now BMW S 1000 R. ?Some kids? spilled something like a glue on the gas trunk & it doesn't comes off easily with the scratch remover he bought in the DIY hardware store, the "spot structure" is hard to the touch & he thinks the polish makes the paint matte...
Stop right here I say, come immediately.
I take with me Krylon Adhesive & Paint Remover Wipes Made in Israel & custom made by Sharkpolitur ( Shark who? Sharkpolitur! ) Nano Polish & Wax, in 5 minutes he & me are racing back home, both satisfied. When he left I realized his very nice bike makes for some very sporty exhaust shock, must be something custom I didn't notice at first...to be continued.

Subscribed! Looking forward to this write up Marc!

Hope all is well my friend.

Mr Shark Politur,

Nice cleanup on the 'gunky' tank sir. Red does seem to attract the gunk.

Also looking forward to a write up on that beast.

Steve

Bike looks like new!

Reminds me of my slightly older BMW. I has an R90S, the orange and silver one. Loved that bike. Modded it quite a bit before I eventually sold it. Sure regret selling it today.

BMW are bewitching but legal design super bikes with heritage & are made from the best materials possible but my preference lies with Japanese street & racing illegal architecture.

So today (from the same company) good guy arrives for micro detailing (this is how word of mouth advertisement works for me where others do all the work, Sharky makes all the joke:laughing: ) for his 1967 Triumph T100R Daytona.
5 minutes didn't pass when cops came with 2 bikes & check guys ID (he later says: Sharky, the last time my ID was checked was 30Y ago, why they didn't ask for your ID...well, what could I say him who is a Sharky in the neighbourhood, I simply made stupid face :wow: instead of explaining him I am being searched few times a week, every week :welcome:

Eat chocolate & be happy.

Mr Shark Politur,

More Trumpet pics please, a nearly 50 year old twin needs to be appreciated.

Steve

I don't have much info about this Triumph, guy told me engine got bigger carb & twin exhausts, all chrome plated plastics are really cheap imitations, different size wheels he bought it for $5,000 it was dead he repaired it alone. He asked what can be done I said only paint & exhausts polished, engine he will clean alone I advised him how.
Must say the engine works perfect, after adding fuel system cleaner (I told him to hold gas at higher revs) for few seconds black smoke went out of the exhausts but then revs stabilized it works now tip-top.
If he will invest more money in appearance there maybe something to show, at the same time I polished out scratches on new Piedmont Red BMW R 1200 RT, they came together but cops spoiled out the fun, nobody likes when stupid cop asks for ID when nothing is going on & all people are nice, when something is going on cops will never know about it, I don't know in USA or Europe but in Israel cops are losers who can't find their place in society or can't do any other work where brain is required, so they feel very small & weak, their equipment makes them feel respected even if nobody ever respected them in Israel.
They arrested me many times, brought to court but there are no evidence I did anything illegal so I am always sent free, I only have connections to organized crime but myself a good guy, just ask anybody in the neighbourhood.
