You mentioned the Boss foam pad didn't give you the correction/cut you needed and the MF did, which Boss foam pad was it?

Sorry just assumed it was the Boss pad as you were reviewing the Boss system and was surprised the white fast cutting boss wasn't doing it as I have gotten amazing results with the Boss pads on my Rupes. I'm so impressed with the Boss pads I'm going to order more.
Joe-NextLevel......ONE section pass to get those results?

That's one section pass according to Mike Phillips.
I don't understand how you leveled that much from 1 section pass, especially on hard paint.
Fast correcting cream isn't like 105 where it dries out, it's not working the panel for a few passes, it has a really long working time, and it continues to cut as well.
The photo you see where the tape line is sideways the 50/50 that was one section pass.
But the section pass is not just your 5-6 normal passes, I work much longer.
If you never tried fast cream give it a shot.
What category do the Boss Creams "sub micro abrasives" fall into? SMAT or DAT?
And you did that up to 10 times? Man that sounds like alot of work!![]()
There's SMAT and dat abrasives in it, from my understsranding.
And if you think I did it 10 times, as in working the polish for 3-5 mins wipe off and do it again no.
I did that in one buffing cycle, with a total of around 6-10 section passes depending on panel, and how bad it was.
So I did it in one complete section passes
Yea that's what I meant, left, right, left, right. Up, down, up, down... 5x each per section. That sounds like alot of work IMO.
I'm used to left, right, left, right. Up, down, up, down. Left, right, left, right. And then results![]()
the hairs are longer then the LC and megs MF pad, but I noticed the Boss MF pad the hairs do not get matted down so easily there a bit thicker and tougher, and cut better IMO however do leave micro marring, witch is to be expected.
And I think I get what your saying,

If you think that's all I did no, once you do that north south east west, you do that about 5-10 times, depending on panel, and that's what I meant by my "complete section pass" for lack of a better word, I did that in one buffing cycle, with around 6-10 section passes.
not just going over it once. I worked the panel for a long time thanks to the long buffing cycle.
Sorry for the confusion.
