Hello, i noticed alot of people keep asking about Essence, so i did a video testing the cutting and finishing capabilities with different pads.

i tested 4 panels. with the following pads

(all tests were done with one buffing cycle, the results could have and would have gotten better)

Machine Used: Boss G21

Pads tested
Lake Country ThinPro Foam Orange Cutting Pad
Lake Country ThinPro Foam White Polishing Pad
Meguiars Microfiber Finishing Pad
Rupes White Foam Finishing Pad

PLEASE NOTE
i am not good at editing videos, trimming videos, so please forgive the poor editing skills, the video is a bit long, you can skip to see the results. ( i will try to get better at that)

also the Rupes White Foam Finishing Pad, is not in this video currently, my Cam died, and i had to film again, i will upload and add it into the video later!

but for the people interested now, the Rupes white foam finishing pad, did enhance the gloss, but left a ton of defects.

overall its a pretty interesting video, i hope it helps people wondering about essence, i got fantastic results, for one step, as the test subject was a 1999 Ford F150 that was really beat up!

Essence is the best product to come out in the last few years imo.
 
I am really starting to use Essence on a lot of my details lately. Thanks for the video.
 
Good video, Joe and thanks for demonstrating Essence with multiple pads.
 
Editing the video would have helped a little with removing the downtime and zooming on certain areas but overall it's very good, the lack of editing is not an issue at all.

Thanks for showing us the results, great work!
 
Very impressive to have this kind of condition after using a polishing pad on a paint that bad!

How many cars would you say you could do with 1 bottle? I will be ordering the 500 ml one but I feel like I won`t be able to do that many cars with it.

I couldn't agree more , I was actually shocked.

How many cars is tough to say, I would for sure order the biggest bottle while on sale if I had a chance tho.

The product is that good.

I would say and this is completely guessing a 16oz can do 4-5 cars that's guessing around 4oz of product a car.

That's a rough guesstimate tho !

That's what I was figuring as well. Since the product has limited shelf life I will have to manage the orders tightly ;) But 4 cars is good enough to be able to order when needed since I usually do one or 2 polishing per week.
