Purchased Menzerna Compound

Heavier cut than Ultimate Compound but doesn't leave as nice a finish. This is an old school rocks in a bottle compound that will require a second step. Modern compounds like FG400 are preffered and can be one stepped.

AFAIK, this particular product was updated when the label change occurred. I have not used it however so I can not comment further. .

According to Menzerna's latest charts its more aggresive than FG400 but less than SHC300.

SHC300 Cut 10/10 Gloss 6/10
PG1000/HCC 1000 Cut 9/10 Gloss 3/10
FG400 Cut 8/10 Gloss 8/10

It's the Gloss number that tells you it's a two-step component. It only achieves 3/10 compared to FG400 at 8/10. I think Meg's M105 is pretty similar to FG400, for comparison.

Yes, 1000 is an old compound, cuts pretty good, but finishes terrible. I think it's really meant for a rotary as well.

Well that's great. The description from Autogeek made it sounded like the thing finished up like a beautiful shinny champ.

From now on I'm asking you guys on here before I buy stuff! Lol. My biggest think I was thinking when I ordered it was a swirl and scratch remover. Ha ha ha.

Seems like that HD Adapt is some good stuff
