I would have bought some for him to save myself some time. I would of invested in some rubber mats long time ago if that was my car!
 
That may be the worst interior I've ever seen.....there are probably guys who would not even want to touch that one....that qualifies as a makeover.....great work.....

The worst interior detail that I have ever done nor seen in my life lol... I understand why this car got rejected by other shops! Thanks man for the kind words!

Hahaha thank you! When I first started out, I did not have a website nor did I have a reputation to get buisness so I used craiglist. I was charging like $100 for full interior and exterior (including paint correction) back then. Some people were hustling me for a full interior and clean up of vomit for $30 (His blog accord is in my website)! Even if my prices are still in par or lower than other shops, not in hell am I doing those work for low wages!
 
that is an insane clean up. That was a terrible interior and I hope that this car goes for enough to properly pay you back for the effort you had to put in!
 
Wow, I commend you. Fantastic job. I would have charged $1000 minimum. Most would laugh, but that would be my way of turning down the job without actual saying it.
 
I'd hate to see what their house looks like. Folks like that are why I wont ever eat at potlucks!!!

My question is, how do you have 40 hours to dedicate on one vehicle, and interior only?
I would charge $1000 for something like that.
Realistically, it would be cheaper to install new carpeting and seats than pay that price for a detail.
Just trying to understand the logistics on how you pulled that off.

Thanks man, indeed it was a intense insane clean up. Had to wear a mask for 40+ hours which got me nauseated due to heat and smell!

The owner was so shocked with the turn around and offered me a percentage of what he makes in sales with the car.

I like to challenge myself sometimes and work on difficult cars. I love working on cars that show a big before and after improvement. I don't know how much carpets are worth but might cost a lot more than the price I quoted him ;). I knew from the start it would not be perfect, but close to perfect!
