The car is 8 months new, I have (upon delivery) done a full decon with IronX and clay, foam wash then the M100/M205 combo. I used Duragloss as and LSP all this for the first 4 months. Them I went to HD Speed and Proxy, easier as the paint was in good shape and great results. Today did a foam wash baggie test (good there) then went after it with my GG6 and a whit BS pad with PA Esclate. Once I was satisfied time for the Viking Coat. I used a BS blue and did the entre car, waited the recommended 45 minutes and had at it with Gold Plush MF. All this is based on the help and advice from "custmsprty" (great individual) So for now I think I'm done, curious to see the durability as this stuff looks great and easy to use.

Nice job. I also think the rims look great! I'm not one for white but with the tints, red calipers and the black accent trim on the lower front clip it really looks good

Thanks for the comments, I'm a fan of black which was the prior but this is easier to maintain.

Looks good, how easy was the Viking coat to remove if you have humidity and hot temperature. And did you find a little bit of product went a long way?

Thank you. In Arizona so I began early, 87 degrees with a 47% humidity. I did all in my Garage out of the sun but it got hotter as the time passed maybe 104 when finished. I followed "custmsprty's" advice using a BS whit pad for Esclate and a BS blue for the Viking. The paint was in good condition and surprisingly needed only one white pad and one blue. The product is amazing to work with. With the Esclate one or two panels at a time and when finished covered the whole car with maybe a total of 5-7 drops of the Viking. Sat for 45 minutes and wiped off so easy. I will be curious to see it's durability.

Sounds good I ended up ordering the pads from Polish Angel in hopes of easy application. Been using Buff n shine for everything else. Any pros or cons for buffing off the PA. Special MF towels you would recommend

Nice work, car looks great! Also interested to see what you get for durability.

I used the Gold Plush Microfiber Towel, microfiber buffing towel, detail towel, micro fiber, drying towel
A final wipe with The Cobra Miracle Towel is a 75/25 blend of imported microfiber. Its one of our softest detailing towels!
I actually love the blue miracle towel as I have a few and use it on glass. The pads I used again are BS white 4-5 speed and BS blue for the Viking speed 2.5-3

Coming from you and your posts thanks that means a lot! I hope the durability is 6 months or more. Odd though if that's true all I have left is maintenance washes.

Your ride looks great! It really makes the white pop.
Thanks I blame you! LOL if it wasn't for your demo.......love the product and sincerely, Thanks again for all of your direction

Nice GLI, I wish I had prior detailing knowledge when I got my new 2013 GLI, the only right thing I did was never take it to a automated car wash, I have since learned all the right detailing steps. Are you on VWvortex? A lot of great info there if you plan on upgrades for the car.
