Nope, I've been using the set up for months and love it. I've since upgraded to the g21 but still love the gg6 with boss MF pads

Couldn't disagree more. I took some advice I got here and got GG Fast Correcting Cream and it works much longer than 205 and is a hell of a lot easier to wipe off and essentially no dusting. 205 dusts more than CC.

Recently I've been trying Griot's fast correcting cream with a mf pad followed by HD speed on an orange or white pad and I've gotten great results. HD speed has worked well for me but this thread has me wanting to go back and play with M205 now.

Are you referring to Fast Correcting Cream or Correcting cream? I'm not sure what you had to do to get m205 to dust but I would say that neither m205, FCC, CC, or Hyper Polish dust when used correctly. Also,while I believe that the vehicle you were polishing with the boss creams responded better and removed easier than m205, every paint is different. Sometimes m205 removes easier than virtually any other polish, other times especially on really soft paints it'll turn to cement on the panel when you try to remove it. Fast correcting cream and Correcting Cream are no different to M205 in that regard. Fortunately on soft paints where M205 and the boss creams give me trouble products like HD Polish+ and Scholl Concepts compounds and polishes typically work incredibly on..... that's why I could never use any brand exclusively
 
I'm almost out of product and looking for a reason to buy something other than M105/M205, which I've been using for years. I don't know that there's anything out there objectively better for general use.

Im referring to FCC. I used 205 in the summer with moderate heat outside, nothing that I thought would contribute to dust. It wasn't much but in comparison to FCC there was more. I've used it on a handful of cars and I just find FCC to dus less than what I've used previously. I have not yet tried scholl or menzerna but used a variety of others and FCC has been the best for me thus far.

I've now replaced 295 with megs 151 since I have a gallon of it. Works great as a Polish and 1 step plus it leaves protection behind if you don't want to do a dedicated topper

Optimums hyper Polish (light correct)
Optimum Intsive Polish (medium Correction)

Both with a Orange waffle pad from Optimum
 
Too hard to choose just one. Too many variables with different paint systems. My most used are: Reflect, Essence, Scholl Concepts S20 Black, M205, Hyper Polish.

Correcting cream as a finish polish on polishing/finishing pad ?

Fast cream correcting cream is my favourite compound on MF. For such a high cut finishes amazing. And hyper polish my go to polish.

Recent one step favourite is Sonax 5/5. Awesome stuff.

Have really been enjoying Sonax Perfect Finish (both on Flex and Rupes ). There is some discussion on whether or not it leaves 'durable fillers' behind but I've worked it thru it's complete cycle to near-translucent and never had an issue with coatings over it.
 
I've been thinking about getting hyper polish and hyper compound but not sure how they would do, it's weird they are sprays

The fillers would not be my concern..it's the oils that will interfere with the bonding of the coating. Why not take a few more minutes and give it an IPA wipe down before coating. Granted by not wiping it down, you won't find the coating on your garage floor, however, it could cut the durability considerably.

Always wipe down with Gyeon Prep or WG Perfect finish paint prep before coating.

Communication breakdown! Usually wipe down twice cuz it's such a quick process. Generally use WG Perfekt Paint Prep cuz I snatched up a bunch of it last year when they were clearing out their 64oz containers. Never had a problem with it last year but get occasional streaking/hazing with it this year...dunno why.

Pondering switching panel wipe this year...suggestions welcome.
