This Bentley is quite the pain. We are currently 40 hours into this project, and have another 3 or so to go. We still need to Opti-Seal the coating, and do a quick interior freshen up. As you will see, the owner bought this car from California sight unseen...Needless to say he was quite upset when he saw his "new" car in the sun. This thing was TRASHED. Hopefully with the Opti-Coat Pro+ coating on here, and careful maintenance with ONR, he should have years of enjoyment.

PS, Special thanks to Mike Phillips for helping me out on a weekend, and making himself available via cell phone. A true professional. Thanks Mike!

Wow those were some wicked defects. Nice save on the areas with the deep scratches you wet sanded. Looks like it never happened. Black Bentley looks legit now, great work.👍🏽

Hey Scott, nice work indeed. Like I said, hard pressed to find anyone else to do the work you do.
The owner should be thrilled.... if not shocked!

Thanks Paul! Hope all is well in NH

Now, when you were doing the interior.... where does he keep the Grey Poupon?

LOL! You know it! Gotten tighten them up a bit...LOL! I can see you're good with the bench work!

That looks awesome. Glad you were able to dial-in the right combo. I read your initial post regarding the problems you were having.

Mike Phillips on speed dial, that is awesome of Mike:)

Nicely done. The paint was trashed. Did you use a paint prep after hyper polish or did you go straight to opti-coat?

Typically I always do. But in this instance I went straight from hyper polish to coating. I made sure I wiped every bit off. Spoke with Yvan at Optimum who said there would be no issues with bonding using this method.

Love that light, can you pm me where to buy when you get a moment thanks .

That's one hell of a car, the owner should be doing backflips after you got done with it! I've always read Mike P. is a nice guy, after seeing he helped you via cellphone, he is truly a class act! Great work.

What an amazing job my friend! Car looks flawless now.

Amazing work!!! That's just amazing - 4 step polishing! How long did it take you?

So how did you solve the paint scratching when removing the polish?

I will never understand how some people can mistreat a car (especially a Bentley) which is only a few years old so badly. I would never buy a car sight on seen. Love the 50/50 shot of the doors. The owner will be ecstatic ones he sees it. You really brought that car back from the dead, superb job. Is this the longest amount of time you've ever put into 1 car so far?

Going on 44 hours. Still working on it. Lol

So how did you solve the paint scratching when removing the polish?

I added the 4th step using fine finishing polish and a pre-packaged Optimum short nap microfiber towel.

Believe it or not the longest car I've ever done was 60 hrs. It was a black Tahoe, and he is a friend of mine. We literally brought that back from the dead.
