Hey Everyone looking at doing a thorough scrub on my rims. Looking for a product that has a good life and nice shine. Currently using polish angel viking coat on the rest of the car. Thanks

1.5 months in, Gyeon Q2 Rim + Tuf Shine Tire Clearcoat holding strong. No more tire dressing, no more wheel cleaner, hose 'em off before wash, quick hit em with wash mitt last, good as new.

sounds great to me.

Super easy to work with and relatively cheap on price.

Hydro 2 would be a great choice for you. Literally spray it on then hose it off, easy to do everytime you wash your car frankly.

Hydro2 for ease. PBL wheel coating for durability (lasts over 12 months). Both great choices.

Mckee's wheel coating. I have it on 2 cars. Easy to apply and now all I use to clean them is soap and water.

I have been using PBL wheel costing for my wheels. When my bottle is done I will probably switch over to McKees 37.

Coating make your wheels so easy to clean. I can't remember the last time I used a wheel cleaner.

YES SIR. Just soap & water.

What about the inside barrels? Will agitation still be needed to clean them?

I still use a mitt and a brush to reach in as needed. Just no wheel cleaners need to be used. I was surprised to see brake dust spots from where the water beeded on the wheel during the last rain.

Better than M37 wheel coating?

I have not tried the newer M37 coating. I have used the PBL, G-techniq, and also Wolfgang Uber on rims. I was/still am enamored with Wheel Armor. It beaded like crazy, cleaned up so easily, and I had over a year protection with one coat on uncoated Iforged uncoated wheels.

G-techniqs Wheel Armor

Just picked some up to coat a set of wheels.

I would be curious to see what the temperature rating of McKee's and PBL wheel coating are just out of curiousity. I had good results with PBL lasting a year.

C5 wheel armor has a temperature resistnace of up to 570 degrees F.

DLUX seems to be doing quite well on my dad's wheels. It to has a high temperature resistance.
