Inside Griot's Garage

In addition to whatever feedback you get here,I would forward your situation to Griot's directly

They are renown for their customer service and I'd be surprised if they weren't very helpful

Writing them an email currently! They have been excellent when I’ve dealt with them in the past.

Couldn't agree more!

I've been a customer since 2005 and the customer service was, is and has always been TOP NOTCH!

Anyone ever have trouble with Perfecting Cream on a yellow BOSS pad not finishing down very well? Lots of micro-marring. I tried Sonax Perfect Finish and it went away. I then tried the Perfecting Cream again in the same spot and sure enough, the micro-marring returned. It’s not the pad either, because I used the Perfect Finish on a secondary yellow BOSS pad.

I’m stumped as I thought Perfecting Cream would surely finish down super great.

I will say, I’m seeing this by using a very bright light (the kind for mountain biking in the dark). Ability to use natural light is low right now with the grey weather and short days.

Might be the pad. Try a different pad with the perfecting cream.

I just did another test strip with a 3” Lake Country green polishing pad using the Perfecting Cream. Same outcome - very hazy.

At this point it’s either something left on paint (not likely if decon’d right), not working product enough? Has diminishing abrasive or bad product.

So Griot's Garage dropped a nice little deal today, spend over $30 and receive a free bottle of their tire/mat cleaner and satin tire Shine. I emailed them to see if the order I placed YESTERDAY would apply.

I get an email back asking for my order # and shortly later I get an email back stating she's added those items to my order.

This is the type of customer service I've come to expect in the past 19 years of dealing with them

Didn't see that deal anywhere but I think it would be at least spring until I placed another order with them.

Anyone had a chance to try the ceramic rinseless yet?

I had every intention of doing so but it's been rainy and dreary most of the holidays.

As soon as there's a break in the action I'll be doing so and my car REALLY needs a contact wash...BADLY

Now that’s what you call Gold standard customer service. Impressive.

Following up on my issue with Perfecting Cream, they sent me a new bottle. I’ll be testing it out in the next week or so. I’ll come back to comment on how it turns out

That's great, hopefully it was just a bad batch that made it through. I wonder if it say somewhere in the cold possibly

as i have said many times before.. it's not just the product(s) themselves, but the customer service to go along with it as well. GG has the best customer service in the business and many should take note and learn a thing or two from them. if a business (especially in car care) doesn't appreciate their customers and do their best to help them in the after sale, they should just go out of business. some are quick to take your hard earned money quickly but when there is an issue they are no where to be found. why give your hard earned money to people like that, ain't nobody got time for that...
