He was particularly impressed with the knock offs, said they looked incredible...

All done by hand

Nice work Ron. I love the fact you did this all without any polisher. The headlamp reflection is awesome. I love polishing by hand, I helped polish a motorcycle tank and fender. A whole car, no thanks. I'll stick to the MC.

Awesome.

My dad brought back a brand new 1969 white Spider when he was with Pan Am, I was only six but hat car was amazing, the perfect sports car.

That thing is gorgeous!! Thanks for posting it and nice work!!

One thing is sure: that's not a 1931 Alfa Romeo... It's a replica (and a poor one) and my guess is that it is based on a VW Bug!

Replica or not. I sure do like that radiator cap/temperature gauge.

Car looks excellent.

NOT replica, just some parts added

Sure it is: and a poor one. VW Bug's front suspension, chassis, some gauges, pedals, blinkers. Ford Model A's type of wheels.

Those kits were quite popular some decades ago. Just google it and dozens will appear.

This is a true 1930's Alfa Romeo:

What a very cool car! I love seeing rare, old cars like that kept in such great condition.

Those old cars have such intricate details, it must have taken a really long time to properly work the whole car.
