Basically what I`m wondering if it should be something different than I normally use w a traditional wash???
I personally use the Sine & Buff Watereless Wash Towels for both washing and drying when using ONR or any other rinseless wash.
Utilizing the Garry Dean method (of never reintroducing a dirty towel into clean water), I can do my entire car with two of these towels folded twice. This essentially gives me eight clean sides to utilize on my surfaces with each towel.
I've been doing this for a while now with no issues at all.If you're going to stick with the ONR, all you need is one bucket and one big red sponge. Go look at 'the rag company' youtube page, they have a couple of videos showing how it all works.
I presoak so the car is loaded with solution that combined with a very wet rag will push or move the dirt right off the vehicle with ease..
Can you tell me how to presoak? Im guessing you apply it with a spray bottle (uber dilute ratio?).
Also, what's detail misting?
2. Frequent maintenance. It's much easier to remove "dirt" from the paint sooner than later and the less time the contamination has to bond with the paint.
I am surprised no mention of this great item from Griots Griots Garage Microfiber Wash Pad
I've used grout sponges, towels, MF wash sponges (like The Bone), muppet head (MF chenille). Take your choice, they all work.
