5.0 Mustang

^^^Thanks Richy. I've yet to try any of their products, but have been hearing some good things. May have to give SS a shot!

One day...one day...they will be released! LOL

You got in there with a shoe to take care of that!
Nice job Sizzle!!! How hard was it to take the hood louvers off?

Well I'm good with the bench work tough guy so the hood louvers were a piece of cake!!

Thanks Paulie! They are easy. Two nuts and a few plastic clips and they pop right out. Makes correcting them and the hood so much easier.

Hope all is well!!!

Hey Sizzle, very nice job. What products, machines, pad, and speed setting did you use to correct the tailight plastic and the hood louvers? How long did the correction take you?
Thanks again and great work!

Thanks Maestro! Rupes iBrid. Blue pad, rotary mode, speed 4, secret products. Followed up with the yellow 1" pad and secret product. Used that combo on both the taillights and louvers. Around 18 hours...

Thanks for the quick response. Do you have a device to measure clearcoats on those areas or did you just do it by experience? I would love to know them secrete products, eventually, you will pass them on in the future lol.

That looks great! I have a couple questions, since I also have a black 2013 GT. Was the paint hard or soft on that vehicle? And what is going on with the bottom of the panel between the taillights? Mine is doing the same thing at the bottom of that panel.

Yes, my DeFelsko PTG will measure ferrous/non-ferrous/plastic/carbon fiber/etc substrates. I can't say what they are yet!!!! LOL

I'd say it was medium in 'hardness'. It corrected pretty easily IMO. That is a known Ford issue. It is the plastic failing and causing that. They call that area an 'applique' or something like that. Depending on your year and mileage, it is a warranty deal.

Very nice work. That car was beat the hell up! And I am still so envious of your garage!

Car looks great. If I may ask, what did you use on the trim? I'm thinking it's the HD. I'm guessing your test products are from Adam's.

Thanks Rasta!!

TheBigGuy: I coated the trim with the Black Label Ceramic coating.

As for the test products you may be on to something...but I can't say quite right yet! lol
