Wanted: Active forum members in Southern California

Hi Mike!

Good seeing you at SEMA! If you're still in need of another member, I could easily fly in from Salt Lake.

1. Proud Competition Ready Alumni member (Jan 2016 - what a blast that was)
2. Member here (since 2007 - yes, a true lurker)
3. It would be my first time on the show

I don't meet qualifications 1 or 3, and just barely meet #2. I'm not "very" active.

Also, I've done both Meguiar's clinics with Mr. Stoops.
 
1st of all, Thanks Mike! Super excited and looking forward to the big day
I don't have the Velocity Channel [yet] so I hadn't gotten a chance to watch Competition Ready until just a few days ago when I found out the episodes are on the Autogeek Youtube Channel. I watched episode 3. It was nice to see so many familiar faces who were part of the team. Mike Stoops, Mike Pennington, Nick Winn, Derek Bemiss, Paul "the other PC", Andy Wong, and I remember meeting Ed Terwilliger at the California Road Show Class you hosted out here in Huntington Beach.
Cool show. Can't wait.

Phil - I'm not recognizing you? I searched your posting history and didn't see where you ever posted to one of the "Pictures and Comments" threads I create for each Comp Ready class we teach here so I can't tell that you've attended one of our classes?

The other criteria in the first post of this thread are,


1. Alumni students of our Competition Ready Detailing Classes
2. ACTIVE positive contributing members of our forum
3. IDA Certified Detailers

Jesus may not be very active here on AGO - but he is over on Autopia. He's a talented detailer who has my vote for a place on your team, Mike!

Being part of the show was one of my highlights of 2016. It was a blast. Looking forward to more episodes!

***Update***


We're still shooting on Wednesday but the Thursday date is now Friday, which means we'll be shooting LIVE at the show. This always makes it a lot more challenging but a lot of fun.

I'll be finalizing the list on Monday.

I met Mike Stoops when he started coming to the TNOGS back when I used to teach them. I actually started them on Wednesday and then later moved them to Thursday.

Then he came to the Detailing 101 and 102 classes I taught at Meguiar's. Later he went to work for Customer Care at Meguiar's and started helping me with the classes. When I left Meguiar's I personally recommended him to replace me and Meguiar's in their wisdom awarded him my position. He's done well and been a valuable asset to both Meguiar's and the detailing industry. He's a great guy and a very good instructor.

I don't post much here but my business handle on Autopia has 6k+ posts and I'd trust JustJesus with my black SRT any day.
