Lake county hybrid pads

I just picked up most of the BOSS pads and the heavier cut B&S Low-Pros. The white and orange BOSS ones and the green and orange Low-Pros are all very firm/stiff.

Someone said the BOSS pads soften up after use. I've only had the chance to try out the white one on my trunk and it didn't seem to soften up much in the short time I worked it.

The only time it was soft was when I was washing it with hot water afterwards.

Yep, use it with the Flex 4 3/8 bp and you won't use the Hybrid system again.

How well does that 4 3/8" backing plate work with those 5.5" pads? I was going to take my Flex 5.5" backing plate and cut it down to fit 5.5" pads as it seemed the 4 3/8" one was a bit too small.

With those specific pads it will work fine. They're pretty stiff, so the backing plate won't "sink" into the pad.

Perfectly fine.
