2006 Toyota Camry, 186,682 miles!

Great work!!! Actually, if I was the owner I'd put a for sale sign on it before a drop of rain hits it. This is as valuable as that car is going to be!

Very nice work/results!!!

For probably less than the average persons monthly car payment this guy has a car that looks like new again. I wish more people thought like this.

I'm kinda surprised that there is still a decent amount of paint on the car. He must have been doing something right. Or it's spent a decent amount of time in the garage.

Thanks for the responses everyone!!!

Mantilgh: He loves this car! It does run great. He intends to drive it till it won't drive anymore! Yes, there was some decent paint left and I was not too surprised...I don't think it has ever had anything touch it besides a swirl-o-matic car wash!

Thanks again everyone!

Looks as if you painted it!!! Very very nice turnaround!

Wow, that was amazing work. Did you have to do any wetsanding?

Sorry if that came out wrong. I meant I was surprised it showed up without signs of clear coat failure. I've seen some up here further north that haven't faired so well. The in-laws Toyota is a year older and is showing some really cloudy spots that look like it's not far from failure.

I'm the same here with vehicles, I'll drive em into ground.

Good God All Mighty, Doctor...beautiful "restoration"! I've said it before but i LOVE those jobs where you can see the biggest difference. Sure, we all like getting those low mileage garage queens and shinin' 'em up but to restore a high mileage trashed out paint job to THAT level is the most rewarding to me.

Nice work, brotha!

Nice work! Not every car that needs love is a show car! But I am calling BS on your avatar, you dont look anything like that guy!

No. Wet sanding was not in the budget. I would have loved to have done some though!!! Thanks for the comments!!

I'm picking up what you're laying down: I too have seen plenty with the clear failing. It is amazing that this one didn't have any doing that at all!!

No car payment is the best car payment!

Ain't that the truth tough guy!

LMAO!!! But you haven't seen me without a shirt on! HAHA

Amazing work!
Looks great.

I do may of these weekly and love doing the bad ones, just makes it all worth while and draws more work once family and friends see their car.

I like to see posts like this. More every day vehicles that can have the worst of the worst. We get to see correction of some more of the common defects. Not that it isn't cool to see the fancy stuff too.
