Electric Pressure Washer....what PSI to get ?

Ok finally got around to try out this amazon foam cannon with my Greenworks 1800. It seems to foam, but wasn't that thick foam. I know people say the electric washers dont produce foam as well as gas, but do you think it may also be the foam cannon? Trying to figure out if I need a more powerful pressure washer or the MTM foam cannon.

I got the kranzle K1122TST, expensive but worth the money IMO.

how much soap are you using? also, mtm has a foam cannon (14.0349 <--- IIRC) for lower PSI pressure washers but IME i haven't had to buy one as the one i have works fine...

I used about 2 OZ of CG snow foam... only difference I see in the 14.0349 is it has the bayonet on it.

try using 3-4 ounces of soap and make sure to turn the top knob all the way to the right and also adjust the spray pattern to your liking...

The MTM Hydro Foam Cannon is the standard in the foaming industry. Whether you are foaming down your car on the weekend or are a professional washing multiple vehicles per day, this tool will save you time and money. Simply attach the foam cannon to your pressure washer using one of the included fittings and you are up and running.

The MTM Hydro Foam Cannon with Bayonet has been market tested and has had more than 7 years of proven results; with adjustable fan blades (narrow or jet) as it throws thick foam onto your vehicle, house, fence, sidewalk, roof or other washable items. The chemical injection knob on top allows for more or less chemical to be drawn through the internal chamber, increasing or decreasing the foam output. This allows the internal agitator to create a dense foam. This model of foam cannon comes with the bayonet installed.

Ideal use is for low pressure washing machines, see specs below.

FEATURES:

1,100 – 5,000 PSI

› 1.8 – 5.3 GPM

Anything under 2,000 PSI and 2.0 GPM, I wouldn't waste my time with(unless it's those really expensive Kranzle electric PW's). Takes forever to rinse a car. Gas is the way to go. I have a 2700 PSI/2.5 GPM Karcher and it works great!!

i disagree (not arguing). gas pressure washers are loud and unless you get one that has a decent pump (usually ones that cost $500+), they will most likely not last long. for someone who casually uses one to wash a car, an electric pressure will work just fine and not mention safer as well...

to the OP, this is the same PW i have that son1c reviews in the video below...

Wow, that looks pretty darned powerful for a 1600 PSI washer.

SunJoe SPX3000 from Amazon. They say 2000 psi and 1.7 gum but I am questioning these specs.

Added quick disconnects, 50' hose, MTM gun, and MTM foam cannon

Currently use Chemical guys soap but this will change to McKees extreme as soon as Chemical guys is done.

3 oz of soap in Foam Cannon and 2 oz in bucket

Someone did a test on the specs of this PW. The unit rated pressure is 1450 PSI(page 4 of users manual) and 1.2 GPM(from accurate true life testing). Most of the inexpensive electric pressure washers do not put out what they claim.

WRAPT C5Z06,
thanks for the clarification of the specs, and I agree with you most of the inexpensive electric pressure washers do not put out what they claim.

In the end does the Sun Joe do the job and the answer is yes and with ease.
