what brand of pressure washer commercial use for a starting carwash business. also would 2400 psi to strong to use on car washing / detailing?

Look no further than a Honda they dominant the market as far as quality.

If you are getting a gasoline powered unit, Honda engines with CAT pumps are good units.

my worries if it can handle the heavy duty demand of a car wash /detailing business.

It is a consumer unit. Not likely to last years and years with commercial use. Maybe try it. If it lasts long enough, trash it when it dies and get another.

Are you mobile or at a fixed location? If mobile, how big is your transport? The kranzle k1622 is very popular in Europe. Small footprint and enough power and flow for the task. Commercial grade and serviceable.

If you are going to be a bear, be a grizzly and step up to the Kranzle for $1600 with instant on and instant off technology

Take a look at the AR630 too. Half the cost of an equally rated Kranzel. (AR630 is 2.1 GPM and 1500psi.)

Go with a Honda gx models you couldn't break it if you wanted too.I haven't changed the oil in a year with loads of hours on it.gx 390 will set you back 800 to 900.Avoid all the electric stuff .

fixed location. I think the kranzle is the last choice for a commercial unit. Im looking for a more affordable yet durable as well

What's nice about the Honda you can regulate psi from 2000 to 100psi if needed.one pull starts everytime same machine since 2004 with zero promblems.

The AR Blue 2N1 2050 is what I'm looking at. Portable as it dear he's from the stand, has several attachments, plenty power and AR makes great pumps. Again, based on research as I haven't ordered yet but am about to.
