Well, my Shelby's paint responded well to Wolfgang last fall when I detailed it for the Mustang Club of America's 40th Birthday event in Indy, so I figured why mess with a good thing? Had some "Mike-induced" swirls (courtesy of me dusting it off every time I walked by it over the winter!) that were easily taken care of with WG Total Swirl Remover. Then I polished with their Finishing Glaze & a gold jewelling pad, & topped off with 2 coats of Deep Gloss Paint Sealant. Ready for show season!

Very nice! WG is definitely treating you and your Shelby well. Love that last reflection shot! Well done!

Thanks! That last one is one of my favorites of the bunch as well. Funny how every so often you get one pic that really stands out. I love how clear the microfiber towel looks.

There you go Michael! You brought back the clarity to the black paint.

You should coat it with the Uber Ceramic Coating.

You know, I really thought long & hard about coating it this time. I even bought Gtechniq CSL intending to coat it. I've done a TON of research on coatings over this past winter, & talked to several guys about it. In the end, I decided to stick with sealant. I worried that if I coated it & got the inevitable swirls in it, then I'd have polish & re-coat the panel to keep it where I want it. Also, I enjoy detailing the car. I didn't want to put something on it that would prevent me from "freshening" it each spring.

This is my 1st year working with coatings, so I'm still learning. I did coat my Fusion with McKee's 37, & I'll probably use the CSL on the wife's new Caddy XT5. I want to know more about maintaining a coating before I do my baby with one.

Looking good. Love a "mile deep shine"!
