Hey all, just a 'weekend warrior' chiming in from N. FL.
Just polished up my car, this past weekend, and it's lookin' awesome. Read a lot of info. on the products I used, and for a first time PC user, I think I did alright.
Here's a pic., and my process, to start my intro.
Project:
1) Wash car, then clay.
2) Using Porter Cable (PC), use swirl remover/orange CCS Pad to remove spider webs and swirl marks.
3) Using PC, use glaze and white CCS pad to bring out the shine.
4) Using PC, use paint sealant and blue CCS pad, and let cure for 12 hours. Minimal product needed, at this stage, but even coats nonetheless.
5) Using PC and CCS blue pad, apply wax let sit for 20-30 mins (depending on product), and buff off as you go.
6) Go take some cool pics. of shiny car.
