Just wanted to post some pics of recent activity on my Audi. The car has a base LSP of PBL sealant from June 2nd that I posted back then. Since then I went one month with no topping, the base still looked great but of course the time had come to touch the car some more. I added a few applications of Trademark Extender, started washing with McKee’s SiO2 Auto Wash.

A week ago I did a Hydro Blue treatment. Below are beading pics while still wet:

A week after that, washed with SiO2 Wash again, then some PA High Gloss, which may not have finished curing yet (pics from soon after the application):

Thanks for looking.

That's a great look on the Audi!

Looks great! Just ordered some of the McKees SiO2 stuff and can’t wait to try it out.

Looks great! And the reflection is outstanding!

How do you like the PA high gloss??

Sorry the pictures aren’t as high res as I hoped. The originals from my iPhone are too large to attach, so I email to myself and then use the option to reduce file sizes... not sure how to customize the size small enough that it’s accepted here but big enough to still have good quality.

It’s very interesting. The sprayer only shoots stream. I expected a mist spray that would spread creamy like Poorboys Spray and Gloss (don’t know why I thought this). It was different than that. I also started applying in my poorly lit garage with a MF square and had trouble at first seeing when the applicator needed reloading. So I over-used, but eventually got the hang of it after a few panels and better lit areas.

To sum up, application was new but something I think I will enjoy in future applications. For the look, I was expecting a lot, huge expectations. Maybe cause of price and what I’ve read, I had impossibe hype build up. The look is very nice so far, but did it meet impossibly unfair expectations? Still pending.

The look before with PBL Sealant + Hydro Blue was also very good though. This adds crispness and the light dances around curves more after High Gloss is added. I haven’t even seen the car too much in the sun yet. The car looks stunning, but I plan on giving another spray down twice in the next 8 days before a family road trip, as I heard High Gloss can look great with layers as the TiO2 builds up.

Thanks...

I have the high gloss sitting on the shelf. Trying to decide what to do with it.

Your feedback helps a lot...

I recall you using Master Sealant lately. It would probably be great on that. I also recall you had PBL Sealant (sent a response once to asked if you had used it). I can vouch now that it looks great on that.

Got the PBL sealant from Guz. Had a plan for it but the owner decided to bail out on a job. It's still on shelf as of now. Funny you mention it as I was thinking of paying forward. Guz's PBL and few other products I'm going to give away soon.

Will post those up soon before winter sets in...

As for polish angel...loving the stuff. My new found love! Grin...

Used the PA on the NSX and the GT350.

Try the PBL and let us know what you think!

I have High Gloss on top of my CQuartz UK 3.0. On a Melbourne Red BMW M235i; this stuff is spectacular! The initial gloss from the coating alone was great; but the PA added a deep "wet" glow; made it look like a freshly dipped candy apple, if that's an acceptable description. Definitely recommend for darker colored paint.

I apply the High Gloss by 'spraying' it on a round MF applicator and then rubbing it onto a panel. Buff with dry MF towel. Its the best way I've found to not waste it getting soaked up in your MF towel. If you have any plush MF bonnets that fit over a pad try it to remove and buff the High Gloss. I think it likes that little bit of heat. Crazy gloss.

Master Sealant with High Gloss on top is fantastic. Not only is it probably the best looking sealant I've ever used (the PBL is another one) but the PA stuff really does protect the paint well.

PA High Gloss beats Reload, Cure, C2v3 in just about every regard except for the cost.

x2 on using this technique for all of the PA sprays.

I like to use TRC Eagle Edgeless sponges. They’re super soft and do a great job of spreading out the product and working it in. Follow up with an Eagle 500 and you’re good to go.

X3 on DBAILEY’s method. I use the circular or rectangular MF applicator, wipe on evenly, then effortlessly wipe off with dry MF.
