Interesting item. Why not just wet sand with 1000 grit and then clearcoat, if that is what the kit does? I guess their finishing product is a single layer thing and doesn't produce orangepeel. That is the issue with the 24 hour dry time for clear coat.... you have to wait before you can wet sand the orange peel away.
I don't think I could use something that produces average result. Right now I offer 2 restoration packages for headlights: Polishing or wetsanding. Doing a compound on them makes them a lot better but far from perfect, sounds like this is what this product does. Wetsanding is very time consuming and makes a real mess on the car, but unless there is damage in the plastic or inside the headlamp, they usually get 90% to 100% perfect. In the case of micro cracks through the plastic (happens a lot on Volvos), nothing can be done for those. And if the there is haze inside the headlight, it can be fixed but you have to take the headlight off the car, fill it with water, drain it, dry it... takes for ever. So it's a pain in the neck and it's not a service I want to offer because some headlights are very difficult to remove.
