I used a 21mm DA, not the Mille.

I used a combo of Rupes yellow and blue wool pads with the fine and coarse Rupes MILLE polishes. These polishes are designed for gear driven polishers.

The sun was not out in full force, so the 50/50 pic is not as impressive as it looks in person.

The paint was pretty oxidized. Naturally, when you're polishing, you're going to pick up A LOT of residue on the pad, the polish will dry out quickly and potentially stick the the paint. What really impressed me about these polishes is they're very well lubricated. They did not dry out through the whole cycle. Took a bit of elbow grease to remove them, but that was to be expected with all the residue. I tried a couple other polishes which dried out quickly and stuck to the paint.

Looks great. Big difference in the clarity of the reflection of the trees at the top of the hood.

You can definitely see the difference in the photos. Do you have the Mille? If so, let us know what you think about it.

Looks good Mark. I just ordered a couple dozen of the new Rupes wool pads and haven’t even used one yet. Solely based on all the rave reviews I’ve seen. What are your thoughts on them?
