What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

P21s Polishing Soap is phenomenal, works so well and leaves behind some protection. I gotta start working it into a monthly maintenance routine.

Cars are looking great guys!!

Hey Eldo ! Thanks for posting that! What a treat ! I’d LOVE to visit that place!

I am alive!

Not ready to come back fully yet but almost. I'll just say I wasn't sick, nobody died and didn't lose my job. Thank you to those who've reached out to me over the past 4+ months, I think it's been that long. Oh and btw, I don't drink or smoke anything, so I wasn't in rehab.

Anywho...I still have the Elantra Sport, still have the winter set-up on but looking to swap as soon as this weekend I hope. I just did an OG RW, used TW Rinse Free wash and wax. Also used Brake Buster on the tires and wheels and the tires look like that after just being dried, Gyeon Tire is just an awesome product! For an LSP I laid down TW Seal and Shine in the fall, then added a coat of TW Ice Spray Wax a couple weeks ago, as well as some Auto-Fanatic 007 Gloss Enhancer and most recently Griot's Garage Poly Gloss, last weekend infact.

Hope to be back in the swing of things soon, you all are my extended family and really my only social media outlet where I interact on a regular basis. Oh and BTW, check out The Car Guys Report podcast and look for the Corvette C8 part 1 & 2, you'll hear me and my "opinions" on that thing (sorry Bob) So everyone take care!

That’s insane how they say it’s not open to the public... Would they seriously deny entry to their fellow brethren? I would think there’s a possibility to get in.

Here’s another must watch video you’ll definitely enjoy.

Thanks for posting that too! I liked the hearse the most! It was the most distinct car in the collection.

Well, today I was finally able to get after the Fusion and give it some TLC.
Here's what I did:
Foamed it with Griots afoaming Surface Wash.
A two bucket wash with Griots Brilliant Finish Car Wash.
Iron decontamination with Meguiars Spray Clay.
Then a pass with my clay mit.
A good rinse, and then I used CarPro Essence, applied by machine.
For my LSP, I decided to give Griots Ceramic 3-in-1 Wax a try.
The first photo is after applying Essence.
The Second is after the Ceramic 3-in-1 Wax.

Cleaned the inside and outside of my car then used Dr. Colorchip to improve the looks of some rock chips.

Truck is still clean from last Friday since I have no job to drive to. :( And it rained all day yesterday.

But today I went over it with Griot's Speed Shine, then a quick vacuum of the cab and cleaned my drivers side WeatherTech. (Passenger side was already mint).

All shined up and nowhere to go!

Isn’t it weird that we’re keeping the cars clean but can’t go anywhere?
Last time I filled up the tank was about a month ago. Haven’t taken advantage of the cheaper gas yet and won’t need to refill anytime soon.
I wonder if the tunnel car washes are closed (they can’t be considered essential, can they?). If that’s the case our clean cars would stand out more as most people are driving dirty cars out there.

Yes, it is.

And.......... Very interesting point!

I’m kinda used to always having a clean car and not going any where because I work from home. Yep, been over a month since I got gas. I only drive locally and it’s the same places I go to now as before the virus.

Getting gas is a very routine task for me.

That Hemi has a severe drinking problem, but damn it's sweet to hit the pedal. :)

I used a full bottle of TW Sio2 infused soap to wash my Ram. On the wheels I used C.G. Diablo wheel cleaner. I tried to take photos of the before and after

Need a full pic of that Ram, sir! :)

Yesterday, practically with a tear in my eye, I put my truck on a battery tender and added fuel stabilizer to my wife's car.

The Ram is clean. I began by giving the narrow areas of the panels a one step with HD SPEED. I used a three inch Meguiars medium foam cutting pad. Pads were attached to GG 3IN Polisher
