What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

'Warshed' the R. The passenger side was peppered with tar (crack filler stuff). I don't have any tar remover, so took some extra rubbing but with a light touch.

Ceramic+topper makes blow drying so easy...and satisfying. Only towel dry was the door jambs.

Nice ride man!

You know you can use WD40, right

Thanks for the compliment and no, I did not know that WD40 helps with the tar. I'll have to remember that.
It has a 1001 uses, I think tar remover is #427 (not sure if its #427 but my dream mid-year Corvette coupe would have a 4 2 7, so it sounded best)

Looking at it closer, all I did was reduce the black spots to smudges all down the side.

Oh, and I've always had a soft spot for the '63 with the split window....but looks like the only engine was a 327.

The WD40 will make it all better, doesn't hurt the paint

Saw some tar on the drivers side door of my 05 Mustang GT. Surgically removed it with some Tarminator, followed up with some ONR Wash & Shine, then went over everything with Pinnacle Crystal Mist detailer (my favorite!)

But the garage is 108... so I can't stay out there too long... drenched in sweat...

My daughters bicycle was a mess so I decided to detail it today right after I finished washing two of the cars. It was hot out today so didn’t spend too much time on the bike but it came out better than it was.

Washed my daily driver. Although I don’t really drive it daily, lol.

Just a basic wash. Then I took the kids out for ice cream and guess what they did? - Yep, they dropped ice cream in the car. Had to clean up the inside a bit when I got home.

Anyway, it was a nice morning of detailing.

After washing my daily I washed my baby. Its been a few months since I washed it. I’ve recently been bitten by the mod bug (again) and been thinking of what to do next. Due to strict emissions in my state I won’t go forced induction so keeping it NA. I’m thinking headers and a larger throttle body. Its already got a full catback, high flow cats, an intake, a plenum spacer, and a tune.

Anyway, on to my wash pics. These are all afters. Car lives in the garage and had maybe just a little dust but wasnt really dirty.

Perfect weather today for some (paid :D) detailing. The Kranzle got a decent workout removing winter road grime from the Old Mans Ranger. Having applied Reload at the last detail really helped with today's wash.

Day off tomorrow means some detailing for myself, Mustang's turn this week.

After my normal wash Sunday morning, went back out in the evening as the sun was setting, and threw down another coat of TWHS Spray coating. So easy.

don't forget the rockstar too :D

Just for you VISITOR. The good boy sat very patiently while I took photo's.

And yes, the Mustang got a detail too!

I used some CarPro IronX on the Brembo Calipers to remove some buildup that didn't budge with my usual wash procedure. I used a Speedmaster brush to scrub as best I could due to restricted access. After which I gave the wheels and calipers a spray with Hydr02 to replenish the protection I would have stripped with the IronX. One of these days I will get myself a decent jack (a lift would be heavenly - space and cash the limiting factor) to allow me to quickly and safely remove the wheels to do the job properly.

The meme for the dog and Mustang...

"Hey...not all Mustangs end up on YouTube videos!"
