No doubt, as soon as I can get to it I'll report. I'll need a garage and some time so it might not be for another few days :D

It works well. One of the key things I learned was to lessen the amount of paint put down for each chip. If you put a full drop by each chip, then you just end up spending more time with the SealAct removing that excess paint.

Wow, that looks amazing!

So here's the question I have...

Doesn't the SealAct also somewhat take away the paint in the chip? Or is it because the chip is recessed that only the "high spots" get removed? Is the paint difficult to remove?

I'm guessing the the less I have spread around the chipped area, the easier it'll be to work with (i.e. less to remove)...as I realized you had mentioned LOL

It may take some away but shouldn't pull it all out. It will shrink when it dries so it won't end up flush with the paint around it anyway. I try to go around the chip with the blending cloth as much as I can vs always going right over it. With a larger chip, you could pull more of the paint out of it. One tip they gave for larger chips in the last livestream they did with Autogeek was to wrap the blending cloth around something flat, like one of their squeegees so you're not pressing into the chip.

I did find I had to use more pressure when I put more paint on the car with the dab and smear technique. Now that I use less paint for each chip, it's easier to get the excess off. Now I use the small squeegee, put the paint bottle up against the edge of it and put a partial drop on it.

Hey guys,

Getting ready to continue my paint correction on the 90 mustang convertible.

Looking for thoughts on how to polish some tight areas. Mainly the recessed area on the moldings and the trunk where the luggage rack is.

Can I get decent results doing some areas by hand?

I will be using smaller 3 1/2" pads

I am sure you are not afraid of a little elbow grease so I say go for it!

Indeed. I was wondering if the smaller pad could be effective and get the recessed area in the moldings. They are pretty neglected in there.

If it could ever stop being gray, cold and rainy I'd like to clean up my car

This our forecast for the next week, while the temps are comfortable, there's a high chance of rain everyday. We got an inch and a half of rain in about 40 minutes yesterday, so heavy it did actually clean the car, the coating doing it's job. It was so loud in our warehouse we couldn't hear each other talking face to face.

Did you get a new car?
I knew it wasn't going to take someone long to figure it out...yes I did!

As soon as the weather breaks I'll do a full write up, story of how it came to be and pics I've been laughing at the exhaust system everyday, well when I've got it in N mode anyways

So that could show today or next month. Or they'll break it and send it back when they're just a street away from delivery. I've seen it all with FedEx.

Sorry, no pics, I was in a hurry

I got a break in the wind this morning so I started a wash on my little car so I could get it all set up and covered because we will be gone for a few months

I foamed it without rinsing and my foam slid off twice as fast as normal

I will say after a pressure rinse it looked at least as clean as a rinse, foam, rinse cycle and saved a step and some water

I’m not sure what the deal was with the foam sliding off so fast

It stayed in mounds around the car for the rest of the wash

I will try this again in the future and see if the results are the same

I did a multi mitt one bucket wash and a final rinse

I blew the wheels out and pulled into the work side of the garage and blew off what I could

I grabbed TWWW without thinking and spritzed the first few panels

Epic fail, this car hates that stuff

I knew better but spaced it out

I tried my new Feynlab Pure Rinseless in a QD strength sprayer and it took the WW off no sweat

I got back on track with OCW and got it blown out and dried

I pulled the battery terminal and got the car cover on and put her to bed for a few months

The last time we went to Alaska for 2 months we came back to Hawaii 11 months later

I’m washing the truck this weekend hopefully but I’m not covering it

Hope I don’t regret it
