What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

Only the third or fourth hand wash (couple touchless also) this year! Been busy.

Typical prep then Adam’s Graphene ceramic spray.

Before pic, far muddier than it looks. The color hides a lot.

They got scrubbed with a brush, that’s it. I live off of a dirt road and have rain in the forecast. Most of that dirt you see is where mud was super thick between tread blocks.

Gotcha. A good tire coating would work, but I’m sure you already know that.
 
My vehicle would be an excellent test subject for a tire coating. But this does see mud/off-road action.

Got off of work and went straight to the touch-free wash. I then drove to pick up my daughter but before going in to get her I wiped it down with 303 graphene detailer. I then told her she could ride upfront with me and she was VERY excited. She also asked for "Speed Boost" and ofcoarse I didn't say no

I plan to wash the GLI one last time they're saying mid to high 60s today. I think I can manage it when my daughter goes down for her first nap. Famous last words.

Planning on Reset for wheels and body and that's it. Nothing fancy. Needs to get put in thr battery tender and parked.

Been awhile it seems... good to see you back.

If anything, adding to the family taught me how to move quicker on washing. Thankfully, now I hear things like "let's go put snow on the car" or "should you wash a car today?"

Ha! I've been around, but certainly not around the wash bucket. I had the car cleaned and was supposed to already have this part done...but my wife's car picked up a nail in the sidewall. Couldn't patch it. She ended up getting a whole new set proce was right. But that week her car was down my car was on duty and it rained alllllll week. It was clean and pulled out into a downpour. I was frowning, I'm sure. So now it needs washed again. Hopefully for the last time this year. Her car needs it too but it's a silver Nissian Altima hides dirt great. I love it.

Yep last year was the first it sat winter out. October-March she was parked came out twice on random 40° days. Quick lap to the freeway, get off at next exit, parked again. Haven't had any issues with She'll 93 that sits for 5+ months. No issues at all. Restarts like it was just driven the day before. I drive my wifes Altima on rainy days as it is. I was in that this morning when I found myself behind an Elantra N....I figure I'll never run into one in thr GLI now. Go figure lolol

2.5S with 128,000 miles and a CVT. Opposite of sporty. Runs good though. I love the ride.

So...guess what. I SAW ANOTHER EN! Ugh!!!! Grrrrr!

Got the wheels done yesterday and the pre-wash(BH). But then Mila woke up so hung out with her some more. Enjoying her tiny days while they last. Bittersweet seeing them grow so fast. Even if she takes a short nap later this morning(short being about an hour) I will have plenty of time to finish the GLI. Using green ONR as the drying aid. Another product that will last longer than I'm alive hahahaha
