What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

I went over the trim with Black Wow again, it applied very easily today, the temp was 34C/93f so it was flowing very easily. I then wiped over the paint with Carpro Ech2o as a QD, it wasn't dirty. I also gave the tyre a very light touch up with Autoglym Instant Tyre Dressing. Then moved it back outside, 2 hours later it's raining, which I knew was coming, sort of why I did it.

Quick rinse less go over of three cars today. Added Elixer to drying the Mav wearing CQUK3 and Ceramic Speed shine to my friends jeep wearing Griot’s ceramic 3 in 1.

How do you like the CSS as a drying aid? My car usually wears Griots Ceramic 3 in 1 Wax as well. Been using OG Drying Aid and damn, that stuff is slick! Curious about CSS still though.

Only the second time using it and it’s on a friends car so my impressions are limited. It seemed fair. Definitely not up their with elixer but not bad either.

Widow day. Gtechnic perfect glass on the outside glass on the Mav & Navigator I’d rinselessed yesterday (ran out of energy on the driver side of the Navigator). They’re both wearing tired Gtechnic glass coating.

Before I washed the EN (more on that later) I cleaned up the engine bay and dressed it

I sprayed the engine bay down with Griot's Garage Brillant Shine rinseless wash and wiped down. Once dry I sprayed it down with Koch Chemie Mp and closed the hood and washed the EN

Once done I only had to sop up a couple smallish puddles but this stuff self leveled...AMAZING product

Took the g/f's Cruze to my touch-free wash after cleaning the EN, had to wash the dealership off of it

For the EN I started making up some Griot's Garage Brillant Shine rinseless wash and took some of it to use in the engine bay. A simple wipedown was all that was needed, followed by a spraying of Koch Chemie Mp and closed the hood

Next was a RW of the EN and tire & wheel cleaning using Brake Buster and all 4 brushes, used the IK Foam Pro 12 as a garden hose to rinse them down

I dressed the tires with Auto Fanatic tire dressing and called it a day

Removed stock spoiler on this 24 M440I and the old adhesive was a nightmare using the steamer to get the first layers off. Than used Stoner Tarminator and it made quick work of it!!!

Sprayed the WeatherTechs with P&S Xpress, scrubbed them with my tire brush and wiped them off. Didn't get as clean as hosing them off but they'll do for now.

Wait, you pulled off the factory spoiler and glued a non-factory one on? That's not very reassuring thinking that BMW's are wizzing down the highway at 85mph and the spoiler is held on by double-stick tape.

You even want to know about the Boeing duct tape then?!

Wiped down the EN w/ Adam's Slick and Slide Mango, seperate towel for the wheel faces as they needed it from the rusty rotors/short drive today

I'm not looking forward to spending money on brakes when I need to but atleast carbon/ceramic pads will keep my wheels cleaner

I've expounded before on my factory pads which were wannabe German-car, black brake dust monsters. When the front pads wore down, I changed them to Akebono Pro-Acts, and the front wheels would stay cleaner than the back, until it was time to do the back ones. Getting to be time to do them again.

That brand and Bendix are at the top of my list

Whatever 14.871K For your information it came already with 3M 2 sided tape and I'm sure you couldn't pull it off if you tried. The original took 3 guys and it was exactly the same tape that came with the new carbon fiber one. I'll see you later today on questioning someone else's thread always 14,872K:buffing:

Glue! seriously where did I say glue? Maybe that would be you first choice! As far as flying off that's another dumb statement. Uncbrs obviously put it right.

Glue, double-stick tape, same thing. Why do you take this personally? I'm remarking on the fact that BMW spoilers aren't bolted on. Call me old fashioned.

I'm guessing you're not going to let me on your new forum because you don't understand my sense of humor. And I would argue that Uncbrs does.

Just gets old! And not old fashioned. You have to get crazy on every single post on here. Be nice if just half your 14+ K posts were helpful and not doubtful.🤨
