What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

After a couple days the EN had some dust and general grit, so I did a foam/dwell/rinse & dry today

For this I used 4 oz of Pure:est alkaline snow foam in my Griot's Garage foam gun and knocked it out

For some reason I thought you would be on the one with The Guz, since you're both from LA. I did see Justin Labato on the crew.

Anyway, that's cool! I guess I didn't see all of those shows. I think I got tired of the "manufactured drama"....we're under a tight deadline! If only we could have started a couple hours earlier! Oh, we could have, but then we wouldn't be under a tight deadline!

But really, that must have been the thrill of a lifetime, to be on a detailing TV show.
 
I did a little interior detail on the Qashqai, cleaned and scrubbed the steering wheel with the last of my Duragloss Leather Shampoo, it didn't even look dirty but check out how much came off with the wipe down. Put some Duragloss Leather Conditioner on next. Then wiped the rest of the interior over with TWHS Inside Job.

I was initially asked to be on that episode, but I talked my way onto this 1. This 1 seemed more exciting to me with the car show being at the Convention Center.

It was indeed a great time + I got to meet alot of cool people and take home a huge bag of free detailing supplies.

I tried Mckee’s Plastic Trim Restorer under the hood & on the windshield cowl for the 1st time. It goes on nice and made it look really good.

You resemble my cousin's husband who is a great dude and is crazy about taking care of his vehicle.
 
Quick wipe down. Has anyone used this combo? I really like the scent of the spray wax. I initially bought it specifically for my 4 post lift . Suppose to use a wax on the posts periodically for less friction.

Speed shine still my overall favorite QD and BOS wax is an oldie but a goodie!

I finally got hold of my brother's car, I promised to give it some attention about 3 years ago, but he was always too busy to get it to me. I've got it till tomorrow afternoon, it only gets a wash when he takes it in for a service, that should tell you everything. Here's some pics of the work in progress, wheels were cleaned with the last of my NV Purge, then I foamed it with Meg's Gold Class, just to see how it went, sloppy foam, I don't know if it actually removed anything. Followed that up with a 2B wash with Reset. There's also a pic of the centre console, to quote Elle Driver from Kill Bill 2, "Eww Gross", I really hate doing interiors. Also the tyres didn't look right when I was cleaning the wheels, every one of them was down to 21-22psi. WTH.

After decontaminating with a clay pad, I did a test polish on the hood of the Outlander, it seems the paint on this is a bit on the hard side. I used my Shine Mate RO with a Black Diamond Blue pad with Menzerna PF2500, it brought it up ok, this thing has a lot of RIDs, so it was never going to be perfect, then I switched to a red pad and went over it with Carpro Essence, and it looks slightly better again.

After walking the dogs tonight I thought I'd do a sit down job, so I wiped over the centre console and dash, began with Orange Agent from Bowden's, then finished it off with TWHS Inside Job. I don't know what that was on the upper steering column, I really hope it was spilled hot chocolate.

I have all the Griot's Garage sprays...except BOS, looks like I'm heading to Autozone today

Not only are Griot's Garage products great performers, the bottles look and feel great, GREAT sprayers and very colorful and with Nick in charge of the company the past couple years, new products seem to come out yearly

While I'm gushing about Griot's Garage have you guys seen their 5 new spray scents
