I've had my 2016 EB Mustang for two years now... purchased it as a lot left-over in 1/2017 brand new. It now has a whopping 6500 miles on the odometer. While I've done a lot of mods, I found a new white 2019 GT Premium with Performance Pack 1... I tried to make the deal this weekend, but got so hung up with things to do I never made it to the dealership. I will be tied up all week and not able to go, so looks like next weekend...

I love my boosted Stang, especially with the Ford ProCal tune, GT350 CAI, Magnaflow Cat-Back (resonator delete), Mish Intercooler and UPR Dual Valve Catch Can. She screams... And I love the rich metal flake Ignot Silver paint..

The new GT I'm looking at is Oxford White... (Ugg....) But It's a premium, with the 401A & Performance 1 package. Nothing else... I figure it's a blank slate for good old fashion GT350 blue racing stripes and rocker stripes.

And yes, I still till have the red ragtop GT Garage Queen... She just got new super sticky Indy Hawk 500 summer street tires put on her..

Go get her, Paul. I'll be waiting for pics. 10 speed auto, I presume?

I personally don’t like white or silver. I’d wait for something else. But that’s just me. That being said, my favorite car is white!!

LOL.. I said the same about Silver until I got my EB Mustang. There is so much metal flake in the paint, it's really pretty. A ceramic coating really enhances it too... White is not my favorite, but if you put blue stripes and blue rocker stripes, it takes on a very 60's-ish retro GT350 vibe. Now I have to figure out how to do both stripes & PPF. Well first I have to look at the car... LOL.

We have a Black one on the lot, Paul.

What a car! I think you'll love it, brother.

You gonna trade your Stang in on it or sell it outright?

Keep us posted!!!!!!

I know the new S550's are insane. But black is out of the question...

Possibly the EB, not the GT. We'll see! Although, you'd probably enjoy the EB with the mods and tune I've done. Super crazy fast...

I like them in White. :props:

I know its not the mist exciting choice for a detailer butin all fairness - when its done right it truly is breathtaking.

So fun to look at getting a new car Paul!

How many liters is the v6 turbo engine?

A perfect white can be beutieful :)

/Tony

no, 6 sp manual...

This is the ONLY way to go! 6-Speed Manual! I know the 10 Speed auto is faster BUT WHO CARES! That is me of course! Either way, keep on rocking and you have GREAT TASTES in cars to choose! Maybe you should wait til the end of the year. You may get a better deal because that way they can close out 2018 with a bang for them. Just a thought!

Hey Tony, my Ecoboost is a 2.3 i4 direct inject w/ Turbo... Surprised you don't have them over in Sweden. it puts out 310 hp at the crank stock, probably about 270 at the wheels (depends on heat/humidity). I did a Ford Performance tune which should give about 25-35 hp gains, at some point of the curve it can be 100 hp gain. The main thing about the tune is I can wind out to 6000 rpms and still maintain power throughout the curve. I also did GT500 CAI, Magnaflow cat backs, so it has a nice sound, and I did a larger intercooler to keep those turbo charge temps down... So she screams and sounds good doing it too.

The new GT has a 5.0x V8 naturally aspirated with 460 hp at the crank... but can run up to about 7000 rpms... And it sounds very sweet, as Ford put a lot into the exhaust note.

The one I'm looking at has the Performance Package 1, which is staggered Micheline tires and FP wheels, 6 piston brembo's, beefed up suspension.

Justin from American Muscle just got a new 2019 GT 10 speed and with one tune from Bama he's pulling 11.6's in a quarter mile. Stock, with stock tires he was pulling 12's. Not to shabby!

End of year may be better... They already dropped the price again.

Doesnt matter what color you get. Once you turn on the car and feel the V8 rumble, the paint choice will not matter as much, especially a 6spd!

Please post pictures of the new beauty!

Awesome!

Yeah Mustang is only available as special orders of some versions. There where 77 Mustang Bullit cars in 2018 that you could get one if you where fast. And maybe you can order from the head quarter in Stockholm. Not even the trucks is available here. The one you can get is Ford Ranger. It's like 2 different car brands in what you have available in the US and we in Sweden. The Ecoboost engines I think is the 1.0l and 1.5l they have in different modells here like Fiesta and Focus and Mondeo. The other modells is Galaxy and Kuga and a couple of more that I don't remember.

2 of my stepfather nephews work as mechanics at a Ford dealership. So I will look a little closer at getting a Ford when it's time for me to get a newer car. That way if something goes wrong with the car they are a call away LOL. And a Mustang would be nice. But the price range is so high here even on used ones. A new Mustang Bullit is at $50k. I like that clean look on them :)

So I went the dealer yesterday... I asked to see two specific vehicles. They pulled one out and man it looked like someone owned it. I asked "that's supposed to be new right???" We looked at the rear tires and not much tread left... The odometer had 1800 miles on it, knocking in the engine, got worse when revved and the paint and car looked like it had lived outside under a tree for a year. I opened the door jamb and trunk and they were filled with sand.

I asked, "what gives????" I was told that was the dealers GM's car and he's ready to let it go... I said "as new????" They said, yeah, our guys will take car of all that... LOL, I said "I'll pass."

The second one was actually the car I wanted to see. But it had just come back from a test ride. When it came back very young kids got out... Oh boy... That one had 108 miles on the odometer. I got out my trusty Defelsko PTG and got measurements. Then I got out my scangrip... I found a doozie of a scratch on the rear quarter panel.

What I noticed was when the sales guy was looking for a specific VIN on the lot, he leaned on the car to look at the vin under the windshield, and his belt buckle was girding into the fender.... I said no to that one too...

Thinking I'm going to put the kibosh on this venture as it's really not required... it was just a gee wiz thing. I already have a GT in show car condition and a stellar Ecoboost with all kinds of crazy mods in PRISTINE condition...

What I found is the rev line and sound of the new Coyote 5.0's is ridiculous. What I also found is in order to enjoy that sound and feel, you are already at a "go to jail" limit. Unless you drive insanely illegal, the boost I'm getting from my EB (with tune) is fairly nuts too.. Driving under normal conditions, both cars feel almost identical. Is it worth the plunge in more $$$$. That's the big question... Probably not.
