what is everyone using for salt removal?

I agree a regular (bucket) wash would be best but most who are using this info are from places with drastically cold weather and getting out to bucket wash may not be an option. I would recommend you all with salty roads try Bilt Hamber Auto Foam. Their is a US supplier with it in stock.

If your lucky like me I have a touchless close with those self service bays too. BH AF out of my IK Foam pro 12. Let dwell 5 mins then pressure rinse.... then touchless and good to go.

I don’t know what WA puts on snow in winter here but this process easy and fast. If I’m feeling froggy i’ll do a Waterless/frothe wipe down when i get home.

If really cold you can do my lazy method and save 2 bucks. By not rinsing. I’ll pull up and right before entering i’ll spray with th BHAF and run straight through. Let the first initial rinse spray off the BHAF.

You should definitely try a different foamer: trying the Marolex, Ammo and IK..... IK had worst foam. Still good but others significantly better.

Just went to garage and sprayed some frothe thats been in marolex since at least June and probably before.

Cold weather too:

I thought the IK was fine till i tried the Ammo.... then the Marolex. The Ik that is still working has been reduced to wheel duty.

Is it Marolex Axel you're using?

I use the Marolex and the Ammo Aerator. I’ll probably continue to use the AA for frothe and the Marolex for other things (Apc’s, wheel cleaners)

I feel the AA does Frothe slightly better and the Marolex build quality is the best.

My problems with both are the handles. AA doesn’t feel as solid, flexes a little. Will that ever cause a problem.... no. Just a head thing.

The Marolex just feels solid but it has a trigger lock thats built into trigger. Sometimes I’ll accidentally engage it wasting product.

What i meant was is the model from Marolex you're using the Axel? They have a bunch of sprayers, etc. Wasn't sure if they had multiple foamers. Ammo is out of stock right now so that's not even an option at the moment.

Ordered an axel 2000, actually on sale today. After some digging, the Ammo Aerator seems to be a FOAM-It 0.4 gal (1.5L) foam unit, which is backordered from FOAM-It due to waiting on parts.
