I agree a regular (bucket) wash would be best but most who are using this info are from places with drastically cold weather and getting out to bucket wash may not be an option. I would recommend you all with salty roads try Bilt Hamber Auto Foam. Their is a US supplier with it in stock.
If your lucky like me I have a touchless close with those self service bays too. BH AF out of my IK Foam pro 12. Let dwell 5 mins then pressure rinse.... then touchless and good to go.
I don’t know what WA puts on snow in winter here but this process easy and fast. If I’m feeling froggy i’ll do a Waterless/frothe wipe down when i get home.
If really cold you can do my lazy method and save 2 bucks. By not rinsing. I’ll pull up and right before entering i’ll spray with th BHAF and run straight through. Let the first initial rinse spray off the BHAF.
