Eldorado2k?

Tail of the dragon would be fun. Anywhere with great ‘Q always a good choice.

My vote would be SEMA. Just so amazing and can wander the Halls of LVCC for hours on end and not see all the amazing things their.

Just have to get Autogeek to say were all employees. Product testers?

I’ve seen you mention the Dragon multiple times. The shop for my HT subwoofer business is less than 2 miles from the entrance to the Dragon coming from Maryville, TN. You’ll need to PM me when you’re coming down next. Just give me enough time to detail my daily driver as I can’t meet a fellow AutoGeek in anything less.
I will but after 11 miles of "enjoyment", the car can get a little dirty, the rims....A L O T dirty

I’ll setup a detail station for to use depending on where you stay. :) I’m on the Knoxville/Maryville TN side of the Dragon.

I've been to the Dragon four times on summer motorcycle trips.

To tell you the truth... I hate cars on the Dragon. LOL.

But as long as you stay in your lane and don't cross the double yellow I guess your ok.

And if anyone does organize a get-together, my vote would be for Vegas.

Even though I'm pretty close, I've never been on the Dragon. I would need something like a Porsche, Miata, or similar before I would go on it. But I oh love me some curves. Pisses me off all the time when people slow down for a minor curve and my inclination is to speed up.

But driving to my shop I often see groups of cars and sometimes some pretty fancy cars like Lambos and Aston Martins going to or from the Dragon.

I knew it. Out pimpin' in his Caddy.

I was hoping for good news about Ric. The last time he was absent for any amount of time, we almost lost him in a car accident. :(

Yeah, that was one nasty wreck.

I was thinking maybe all that chili-flavored Ramen took him out this time ...

Agreed. Best appreciated on 2 wheels.
I'm not a biker and understand the allure of it and why you and others say this but it really comes down to the individual. I've seen both cars and bikes abuse the road. If it's a scenery thing your looking for take to the Cherahola Skyway, more room and MORE views!!

Glad to hear he's ok.

Speaking of TN, there are some great roads near Oak Ridge.

Glad to hear he's OK and just busy.

I'd be all for a run on the Dragon. I figure it will be similar to the autocross courses I run with the SCCA...only longer and with much better scenery. And the occasional RV....

I'm only about 9 hours away and the Dragon has been a bucket list trip for a while now. While the Dragon is only 11 miles long, I've been studying the maps of the area for several years and it looks like there are TONS of good roads around there. A real playground. I think anyone could easily spend several days just enjoying the roads and taking in the scenery. You don't even have to run them at full boil and your hair on fire to enjoy them. Safely and responsibly hammering along at 6/10 or 7/10 capability of your car would be a great time.

Just a brain storm. AG sponsors the wheel cleaner, bug remover, and maybe the bug preventer stuff a couple brands sell. We apply it before we leave home and see how the products stand up during the event!
