Throwback Thoughts: Favorite Detailing Product of Old?

Another thread recently reminded me of Eagle One Nanowax. Going to have to make that my top pick for favorite detailing product from simpler times....the good ol' days where OTC was good enough.

Like Bill D., Liquid Glass but it's still available.

I'm surprised it's still being made. Back when it was really popular Corvette owners used to swear by it.

Try Eagle One Wipe and Shine. I think its better then Nano Wax.

Astroshield, Meguiars Lifetime Polymer Sealant, and Deep Crystal Paste Wax, although I’m convinced that it became Mirror Glaze #26 paste wax.

I always suspecter there was a relationship between the Deep Crystal Carnauba Waxes and the M26 offerings.

I still remember buying my 1st Red Box of Duragloss #101. After using Simoniz Original in the Yellow Can....I thought I had made it to heaven. I am not even going to mention "cheesecloth" used for polish/wax removal.

I still use a lot of that stuff. Very mild, light swirl removal, but excellent protection and longevity. Whenever someone has a vehicle in decent condition, and just wants a durable "wax job", DG101 is what I prefer to use.

Live.........learn it......love it....

M16 anyone? I think I still have 6 or so cans of it in storage.

Westley's Bleche White + tire brush.
Nothing ever got my Radial T/As to glow like this.
