•I still use both of these LSPs.Anyone still using 845?
It’s either that or fk 1000p.
I used it for the first time here,
Barn Find - 1950 Pontiac Chieftain Deluxe Convertible - Extreme Paint Correction
AFTER - 1950 Pontiac Chieftain Deluxe Convertible

Paint was super soft. Original single stage paint from 1950.
I did the paint correction work with RUPES UNO PURE - Ultra Fine Finishing Polish.
Sealed the paint with Collinite Insulator Wax NO. 845

845 is one of my favorite LSPs. It provides the luster of a carnauba wax but the longevity of a sealant. I can get 3-4 months protection out of it. It is easy to apply and easy to remove and a little goes a long way. The only issue I have it that it tends to gel up in colder weather. I have to keep warming the bottle to keep it liquid.
I applied it only last weekend, and I did get some on some textured black trim, it wiped off with no issues. I didn't notice till it was ready to buff off. I can't answer your second question, my bottle is less than a year old.To those of you who use 845 often, please help me with these two questions:
1) On the Collinite website, it says you should avoid getting it on black trim. What has been your experience with 845 on trim? Does it stain trim white?
2) Does it ever go bad? I have a bottle that is probably 7 or 8 years old.
Thank you,
