1994 Porsche Carrera 2 Coupe (993)
Grand Prix White w/black interior
3.6 liter air cooled flat six
6 speed manual
268HP/243TQ
150,822 miles

New client brought in his daily driven air cooled for some much needed and appreciated correction and protection. Car is in tip top mechanical condition and needed the paint/etc to be brought up to par with the drivetrain!
Paint was full of swirls, scratches, chips, dull/faded/lifeless paint and some water spotting.
Paint was factory single stage with a few panels base/clear after they were repainted.

The ‘details’:

Adam’s tire and rubber cleaner.
Adam’s wheel cleaner.
Adam’s strip wash.
McKee’s37 iron remover.
Master Blaster to dry.
DeFelsko PTG.
Scangrip lighting.
Flex 3401, pixie and Rupes iBrid.
LC force hybrid pads.
Griot’s FCC and Perfecting Cream.
Optimum panel wipe.
SPS Graphene coating.
Gyeon Tire dressing.
Autofinesse glass cleaner.
Metro vacuum.
303 Interior protectant.

Thanks for looking!

As always Beautiful work. Love the Porsche with a traditional 6-Speed manual. I know the PDK is better, however, this year the PDK did not exist. Even if it did, the 6-Speed manual would be for me.

Either way beautiful ride and excellent work.

KEEP ON ROCKING!

Sweet!

Many will say that white never can look really, really nice, but I disagree. Clean and flawless white (on certain vehicles) is stunning.

Thanks for the comments everyone!

waddell: Yes I did. 303 was used on the seats, door panels, dash, console, etc.

Perfect. Thank you for that. For some reason, I am always hesitant about putting anything on my leather seats on both my cars. I have used BlackFire Interior Protectant, and while it seems to work, it does make my seats feel "slick" for a day or two. I have some 303 at the house that I might try next.

Awesome car! Too bad the body shop didn't do a better job color matching the panels. Great job bringing this Porsche Carrera back to life.

Nice work! Beautiful car...too bad someone is DD'ing it.

Not bad for your first Porsche, Liver Neck!:laughing:

Awesome stuff, Scotty........ :props:

^^^^^LMAO Paulie!!! Thanks!

Bobby, yes, it is. A tad noticeable! He wants to repaint completely one day...

Azure: It's actually kinda cool!!! No one really does this anymore with the way these things are appreciating!

Thanks for the comments everyone!

I'm kinda the opposite way, actually - I love that it's being driven, and it shows how well they're taking care of it.

I had a first generation (E30) M3 that I absolutely loved - but after it started to sit more and more, I elected to let it go to a home where it would get more use.

Great work as always Sizzle!

Your customer DD'ing this car reminds me of back in the day when I worked at a Audi/Porsche dealer. They had a customer with a 996 Turbo that drove the wheels off the thing. I can't remember his profession, but he used the car for commuting. I think the car had 250ish thousand miles on it when one of the Porsche techs was doing some suspension work and dropped the car off the lift. I believe the dealership then helped him get into a 997 Turbo to start accumulating miles on...

Thank you! ^^^

Oh no! I couldn't even imagine that...dealer better have helped him into that 997! LOL

I too love that it’s being driven. Nice job on the detail. Please post pics when/if it gets that full repaint.
