Looking for alternatives to PayPal

Thanks for your insite reguarding esg. The conspiracy comment was ment as a joke...and not singling someone out. Also I was clearin the air b4 someone else said it. Cat trackers are way different than esg. Heck trudeau should have never been able to esencially freeze the bank accounts of anyone.(smells like part of the great reset) Hypocrisy.

Anyway....couldnt one just go buy a prepaid credit card(gift card) and use that to make purchases if one is worried about using their regular checking account card to make online purchases?

I’m guessing through their parters listed on the app as a way of advertising, even though there’s no pop up ads. You have to click on this screen in order to see it.

Ahh so it’s that easy… I should’ve known since I’ve seen the pay icon before but never thought it was that simple.

For 1. Having a PayPal/Apple Pay account sets you up to pay not only at 1 website, but all websites where they’re accepted. No need to fill in your CC information for each different merchant everytime you decide to buy something.

2. Some people would rather keep things simple, meaning they’d rather have 1 less monthly bill to remember to have to pay.

3. Paypal/Apple Pay immediately deducts the money from your checking account, so there’s no way to spend more money than you think you have because it’s instantly debited.

4. Credit cards give you the opportunity to put paying things off and for some people that leads to irresponsible spending/debt.

Doesn't a debit card do the same thing.
