Deyon...your influence has been delivered

️
These are my 3rd thru 7th ADS products, looking forward to using each of them, inparticular Armour Quartz Coating

️You guys looking at this obviously can't feel the quality here but it's there, no doubt about it! The Coating box has magnets to keep it closed, are you kidding me, I've never seen this before, little things mean alot, it shows they care enough to do this and as if the box quality isn't enough, I can only imagine what the results will be

Look forward to hearing your thoughts. I'm surprised you didn't get Amplify as well.
My introduction to the ADS was late last year in the search for a coating to use on the XR6's wheels. I could have easily chosen from a variety of wheel coatings already sold in Australia, think DLUX, Gyeon Q2 Rim, Gtechniq C5 or NV Wheel. None of them grabbed me, in fact I wasn't all that impressed with the NV Wheel I used on the Mustang. DLUX was the contender, but the lack of slickness didn't win me over. After seeing Matt from OG use and then put the ADS wheel coating in his store that I knew it was what I was looking for. The winning factor being the slickness and hydrophobic qualities it has over competitor wheel coatings. I bit the bullet and ordered a bottle direct from ADS............................
In Australian dollars the coating was $125, shipping from US to AUS cost only $34, all up $159.00 AUD. Actually, I got 10% discount for a total of $140.25. For context, the master distributor of ADS in Australia lists the same coating at $167.95 with free shipping. In theory, it would work out better if I ordered directly from ADS. Actually, checking that now on the ADS site, shipping to AUS is now $59. So, add that to $125 and you end up at $184. So, that proves my theory of ADS eating the cost of shipping to get some market traction. And for those who think free shipping is a thing, well, someone somewhere is paying for it.
For further context, Gyeon Q2 Rim sits at $74.99 and only lasts 12 months. Gtechniq C5 at $87.90 for 24-months. The ADS wheel coating is more expensive, but it will outlive the 1 to 2-year claims for those competitor coatings, is slicker, has better hydrophobics. And while the initial wipe off is grabby, the ADS coating is easy to apply and only requires a single layer. The end result is super glossy, super hydrophobic and super slick.............all without needing a top layer coating or topper.
I've since applied that coating to the Ranger and....................a lawn mower. Shortly after applying to the Ranger, my contact at Detailing Shed let me know they were introducing the ADS coatings to their store, with the maintenance line coming later on. Even though I was super keen to try out the rest of the ADS line, I waited patiently to buy it locally. The wait was worth it!! As I have said previously, the cohesiveness of the line is what impressed me most. Often, a brand will have a few winners with a clear standout. Each ADS product hits a home run, which is rare in detailing.
Where once, if I had to pick just one brand, it would have been Carpro. Now.............its ADS. Simple as that.
