I did the final polish on this truck a month ago after a custom paint job on a brand new truck.

Needless to say, between putting on the final parts, and improper cleaning techniques after going to MATS truck show in lousiville ky a week after, the mirror finish was no more. Funny thing was that it won best paint even with all the swirls.

Put alot of hours into this to bring it back to where it needs to be. Ended up unexpectedly having to go around this truck twice with flex machine to bring the paint back to life. Hopefull when it goes to another show in a few weeks the owner will have himself another trophy

Finished off with gyeon mohs evo. I will say that using their primer polish imo makes a improvement in wipeoff of the coating.

First two pictures are before.

Thanks for looking

Nice work, man. I guess it never occurred to me that you'd need a super-size garage for a semi-truck, probably because I've never seen a semi-truck in a garage.

Interesting about the easier coating wipe-off after using the primer.

Amazing work. How long did it take? I'm not sure I'd have the patience to take on something that big.

Thankyou both.

My entire weekend lol

Did they "dry rub" the dust off it with a hotel towel?

Hahaha. Two of my niehbors dry their vehicles with a beach/bath towel. Makes me cringe every time

I thought my 43' motorhome was a PITA to polish but it was nothing but big, flat, boring, panels

Them trucks got lots of curves and fenders and stuff

My hat is off to you sir

Yup nice job. Should bring home another trophy. Definitely teach him about rinseless.

And I thought I take on large vehicles:wowwow:
See you have the same scaffold as me in the background shot. Makes life a whole lot easier on 2 story jobs!

Nice! How much Mohs did you end up using?

Yes scaffold is very nice to have.

Budget, i used every drop of 1 50ml bottle. Very supprized. I would have had to open a second bottle if i had been able to coat the last 3 of the six fenders. 3 got some curb rash and are being fixed currently.
