Guess who's back, back again...

Any of my old buddies still on this forum??

I was very active back in the day, still in the detailing business to this day, but life got too busy to mess around on the net.

Anyone still here from the 2013-2017 days???

Sheesh, isn't that Anthony/Jngrbrdman's account over here? His account at Autopia got hacked, also.

Hey there

There’s only 8 members logged on right now… 1 of them is in “private messaging”.

Out of curiosity I clicked on the username and it says his last public post was 14 years ago. Wow 14yrs. ago but currently sending a private message… I thought that was funny. Lol.
And I don’t mean it in a bad way at all, just thought it was hella random considering there’s only 8 people logged on. We’re a rare breed for sure…

Setec Astronomy, the fact that you’re easily found in the very 1st pages of MOL and currently logged on here today at this time… You’re a legend man. Lol.

Not really, Eldo, I'm probably "always" logged on here now because I had a problem with my desktop PC and have been leaving it on all the time. And the reason I'm on the first page of MOL is because no one posts there, and I was there a few weeks ago to ask a question relative to a thread here or on Autopia. I probably post there once a year, to ask questions about the new (SEMA) products...I'm not even sure they did that last time.

But it's certainly just us die-hards that are still here on forums.

Nope, you’re wrong on Both points…

1st of all, and right on cue, as soon as I posted that I checked and you had logged off… lol.

And 2nd, I didn’t mean 1st page as in most recent, I meant 1st page as in the very 1st posts ever on MOL. Like in the early 1990’s or whenever it was.

Oh, if I was there from the start of MOL, that's complete coincidence, and I don't think it's correct, either. I think Mike Phillips says he stood up MOL in 2003. I had been out of detailing for a while, and in 2003 I was "waxing" a new car for someone, and I decided my stuff was old so I went to whatever store, like you mentioned in the other thread (Target, WalMart, Pep Boys, etc.) and got what seemed to be the latest and greatest "wax", which was Meg's Gold Class.

Well, that didn't hold up too well over the winter, so in the spring of 2004 I went to the Meg's website to find out what was what, and found they had this forum thing, so I joined. There was talk over there of this other forum "Autopia", so I went and joined over there, too. I didn't join here until 3D bought Autopia and messed it all up, in 2010. (and kudos to Bob McKee for ultimately saving Autopia, although it was a little circuitous)

Dude, don’t be ungrateful now… You’re a legend. Accept it. That’s it, it’s a done deal. Legend, with a capital L, that’s it. No more. Lol.

Hey, remember I mentioned something about a mythical figure from way back on MOL? I found him. This guy.

And sure enough, here he was asking some oddball question because he was like that, always.

Do you remember him?
