What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

At first glance that emblem on top of the engine cover looks like a Chevy bow tie. I thought you were a blue oval guy. :)

I was admiring them--what did you dress them with?
Oddly enough, it was a company I found on social media. I can't confirm or deny if they're just rebottling or it's a proprietary formula. Adding the picture below with price so nobody thinks I'm lying

I used this and their tire/wheel cleaner but I only bought them because I wanted to get in on their $.50 towels that are great for leveling coatings and then disposal. I never want to endorse such companies as I know little about them but I'm very willing to try out their stuff as long as they don't look like a scam. I've found some good stuff this way.

Not pictured is that I went out and added a third layer of the Adam's Pumpkin Spice dressing. Yes, I'm looking for bonus points to have the garage smelling nice AND a clean car.

Today I converted four of my pump sprayers from manual pump to compressed air filled by adding schrader valves. It’s a really simple task.

Someone makes the product for you and you just slap your own label on it
Exactly. There's a few of them I've found. That said, not sure how anyone could be in that business and moving them out at $5. The skeptical side of me says $5 screams AliExpress but with something like this it's low risk. I'll try that dressing out on a few other tires and who knows, maybe it's a gem at $5.

Oh ok. That sounds dumb. Sounds like something an idiot would do. Invent something on your own or dont do it at all.

Most of his products are out of stock. As I said, he seems to be blowing out all his inventory to get out of that business, he has a separate site for detailing services.

I'm assuming you mean the Briggs & Stratton logo? Or maybe that's Breaks & Scrap'em?

Or Krohler, Kindasucki, Snap-off.............................

Pre-sale mower detailing today................................................

Again, Shine Supply Wise Guy for cleaning, Carpro Hydr02 and Meguiars Hyper Dressing for enhancement.

Same process applied to an old Stihl HS 45 hedge trimmer.............................

My zero turn rider got trashed after trying to mow wetter than normal grass when we had all the rain from recent. I will have to get the pressure washer out to clean them up.

This was DigDave's detailing day yesterday,

Hey Michael,

I managed to get some detailing done today, I wonder if you could post this up when you get a chance, many thanks for your help.

The FJ was going in for its annual inspection today, even with the rain predicted all week I decided to give it a wash, so I pulled it inside and gave it a RW with Ech2o, but only on the paint, I didn't bother with the trim. I did all the glass with Carpro Clarify Phobic, and the wheels with Bowden's Boss Gloss. And it passed the inspection with zero issues, 13 years since it was first registered and it's just ticked over 226,000 km.

And a big thank you to everyone trying to get me back in.

Thanks Chilly

Dave

I guess some of you aren't old enough to remember the generic white or yellow boxed products at the grocery store; stuff like mac n cheese that was about half the price of Kraft

Lots of products were packaged that way in some stores that catered to a less wealthy client base, like the boss and me when we were starting out 46 years ago

It also reminds me of the base commissary where EVERYTHING came in silver or OD green cans with the contents printed on the top of the can in typical military fashion, or in plain boxes for dry goods

"Peaches, Sliced, in Syrup"

The floor of the commisary was plain polished concrete with direction arrows on each row in yellow and you BETTER go in the right direction or the commissary police came down on you

How are you dealing with the possibility of over pressurizing those or do they all have some sort of relief valve already?

Today I did a rinseless wash on the Mustang with Absolute. Five minutes after I got done drying it off and dressing the wheels it started raining. So I had to hurry up and get it back in the garage then dry it off for the second time. Downpoured for ten minutes now the sun is back out.
