Touchless wash today....muddy roads on the way next week as the temps climb to mid 40's

Nope not at all. I don't even post on the focus forums. Although maybe I should

Cleanliness, color, stance, rims, you got it all there, plus the spec is rare, that kit is factory, right

First day out of winter storage. Fired right up. Car was due for an emissions test so took a drive to a location further from usual spot.

If I was the emission tester, I'd pass it immediately, no questions asked! ;)

Send that place THIS picture to use in an ad, no brainer

Funny story about that business.

It's circa 2005/2006 and a 19-year old DFB. My first car was a one-owner 2001 Ford Fairmont sedan in old-man burgundy (Barossa Red, named after the Barossa Valley famous for its red wine), which was the entry-level luxury model in the range. I say that because the Fairmont was aimed at a "mature" age bracket, not a teenage boy racer. So, as funds allowed, I slowly made the car a little less old man and more to my liking.

In addition to a set of Tickford (think BMW M or AMG) wheels, an XR6 VCT exhaust tip, Momo leather steering wheel and shifter, I added the factory option spoiler. With my uncle being the spare parts manager, I got the part on the cheap. These would come in a raw material and needed to be painted. And this is where the business above comes into the equation.

The spoiler was dropped off for them to paint it, then I'd take the car in for it to be fitted, which included drilling the trunk lid and connecting the wiring loom for the central LED brake light. All was going well, until they called me mid morning to explain that they had lost the keys to my car and would I mind dropping down the spares.

In the end, they had to pay for new locks, two new keys, two new key fobs. They only charged me something like $200 for painting and fitting the spoiler, way less than what it would have cost them to replace all the locks on that car.

Still, the spoiler achieved that OE look I was going for.............................

Which spec is that? I’ve never seen that kit before and I live within 30 minutes of Ford HQ.

It's a Falcon, you've never seen that out driving down the Southfield infront of the Glasshouse for a reason
