The Post a Picture of Your Ride as it Sits Thread

Lots of rain the past few days and the next few as well, itching for the next drive.

I have been avoiding freeways with it other than this one short stint between two exits. It was enough to go over double the speed limit once. But only long enough for that.

Yeah, freeways can be trouble. This happened last week just south of me. Around 380 vehicles with multiple flat tyres. It was closed for 10 hours while they tried to clean up.

Going back a few years, I had just fitted new wheels and tyres to the Mustang. Passing by the exit to Bunnings, I spotted something spread across the road but didn't have time or ability to swing into the next lane. It was a large package of nails that had likely fallen off a tradies vehicle, I ended up running over them. By some sort of miracle, not one ended up in my brand-new and extremely expensive tyres.

Yikes! That's not good. Those poor people...how is that even handled financially? Everyone on their own I imagine if they can't place a blame. Ouch... Yea that would be expensive for the Shelby, I looked up Polot Sport 4S tires in my size from tirerack.com. Just the hoops, mounting and road-force balancing not included, were nearly $1,900.

Not to mention potential damage to the rims.

And here I was worried about stone chips and road rash lol.

The truck and company were identified immediately, people were trying to stop him for miles, eventually the police stopped him. The driver wouldn't speak to the press, but his manager did, explained that their insurance would cover all costs, but we'll see just how much they are willing to cover.

Saw a guy up the street on two occasions now with a Shelby GT. The ones from when the S197 body first dropped in 2007. Those are fairly rare as well, I'd love to meet up with him. The Shelby GT rear badge on the trunk lid is so cool

From wild to crazy. That black Stinger looks like liquid. 2 of the pictures appear corrupted at my end.

Looks fun! Your car looks the best just saying.

Cloudy but dry, perfect day to stand in a parking lot at a car meet/show. The one show I usually go to annually with my dad for the last 17 years is typically my first sun burn of the year, always lol.
