Being out of Gyeon Leather Shield I decided to try this after watching the Car Supplies Warehouse video about this new line of products

Now to be clear, this is NOT the same kind of coating that Gyeon Leather Shield is, that comes in a frosted, small bottle and applies like a traditional coating, not sure about even using "coating" for this actually

I will say it comes out of the spray bottle in thick lines, grayish color and a little goes a looong way, so at $41.00 the bottle will last a long time, it's a quart size! I can see myself using it more often if I'm honest and that's ok, I've got quite a bit here

Because it's basically a 3 in 1 I'll be using it on my steering wheel quite a bit, love the feel of a fresh cleaned & conditioned leather steering wheel

Aqua Gloss on tires

I bought a mystery box from one of our Car Care Product outlets years ago, from memory it was $100 worth for about $60. There was a couple of full size products, stuff that wasn't moving, a few sample sizes of popular stuff, and some decent MFs. I wasn't displeased with what I got.
 
More interior work today on the big car, cleaning the 3rd row seats and surrounding plastic, although no one has ever sat back there, we frequently have the 3rd row folded and the dog's crate back there

So lots of vacuuming and dusting to do and trying to use up some interior chemicals in an effort to thin the collection

P&S Express is my no questions asked interior cleaner; however, I have Adams, Megs, ADS, and CGs interior detailers on hand and I honestly think Megs Quik Detailer is all I need along with the Express since it is cheap, readily available locally, and gets the job done
 
Tried to clean the interior of my F350 yesterday but couldn’t fight through back and hip pain. Also, I realized I ran out of bug remover, anyone got any suggestions? I had been using Bug Squash.

Not really, the newer mower in that image is called a "utility" mower, which means it's purely designed to cut and run. Very few people buy this style of mower for residential use as it doesn't have the ability to bag/catch, 90% of mowing in Australia is done with a catcher. These mowers are often used for public gardens, rural properties ect. I bought this new one for nostalgia before they stopped making the 2-stroke engine. Having the first and last 2-stroke utility mowers side by side is pretty special to me. It's also feather light, so you can use it for hours without fatigue.



The rest of the Victa range consists of 18-inch steel base mowers primarily for catching, but some have a mulching plug. They also make 19-inch steel and alloy base mowers, with or without self propel. I also have a large 21-inch Commercial model with an alloy deck, self propel and mulching ability. In my opinion, Victa make THE BEST push mowers in the world, bar none! And I'm not just saying that because I'm an Australian, I've owned and used over 30 different push mowers over the years. Most of them were Australian made brands, Victa, Masport, Rover, Bushranger, but I've also used American-made Toro and John Deere. What about Honda? The engines are beautiful, but the rest of the machines is junk. I fell for one early in my career because every other contractor used them, so I followed the crowd. Absolutely one of the worst mowers I have owned. Thing is, every time, I come back to Victa for the cut quality and superior catching/bagging performance...............................they just do it better across the board. In particular, the 19-inch alloy models are the best.

Sorry about the derail, mowers are equal with detailing and cars for me. :rolleyes:

I found a Touchless wash on the other side of town and I ran my 350 through it once and it didn’t really clean anything on it. Just got the pollen off. What’s your touchless process at one of these contraptions? Do you presoak with anything before heading in?
 
So even though the EN was parked out front, away from those damn pine trees, pollen accumulated and since I used the daily touch-free wash on the TAOS I decided to do a RW, been a while

I reached for Griot's Garage RW, really like this product and yes I know, there's lots of new products out there and I've read "complaints" about it, I don't get it and I don't care, works GREAT for me

Now to dry the EN after each section I used the brand new TRC Slim Dryr towel and I've gotta say this MOST IMPRESSIVE!! I dried a section at a time, just threw it "matador style" and bone dry! Even once it got a little more damn no problem, temps about 58 degrees

I finished up with a little "boost"...Nv Boost V2 and it never disappoints, although I had to remove the little cap at the end of the sprayer, it was clogged up and if anything this shows you it's not just "some quick detailer", one of many hidden gems out there

I know the M22 towel is also out there now from TRC, maybe next time but this Slim Dryr I got during the Memorial Day sale, free shipping got me to try it and I can't say more about my initial use

During winter I do but that's just to help things along a bit, today it was simply used for pollen removal, sometimes pollen & sap mist removal, the EN goes through there many mornings before work, sometimes after work, it's all about time management ️

Touch-free washes are good for maintenance and "good enough" washes, hell, even those "I know it's going to rain but I've got the daily subscription" indulgence washes

You are not alone. Washed two vehicle yesterday afternoon. This mourning they have a good dusting of pollen on them. Although it looks worse on the gray CRV than it does on the white Tacoma.
 
Finally a day without rain! After mowing the lawn, maintenance wash on the truck. Used my new Autofiber drying towel. I was impressed with how much water it absorbed streak and lint free. And tried the work stuff wheel mitt. Has its place. I think it cleans better than a wheel brush. Finished with TWHS wet wax.

I had to do this with my Boost V2 last week as well, it was just spraying a vertical line. At least the sprayer is cleanable, if it was a fixed head it would be a pain.
 
Did a quick headlight restoration. After the job was finished and the customer expressed his satisfaction, he refused to pay. It was some lame excuse about he used to pay all the bills in the house when I was a kid and made sure food was on the table and clean clothes were on my back.


Helped an old friend learn the process of doing a coating so that he could coat his truck and his wife’s Mercedes. We did all the prep work and were able to coat the rear of the truck. I would have finished the rest but it was two inches too tall to fit in my garage but he’s got everything he needs to finish the job at home.
 
After 2 weeks of non stop rain, I finally had a moment to clean my truck and my wife's Jeep. Topped them both with ADS Amplify. I love ADS products!

Of course, it rained an hour later, but luckily they were both in the garage and still clean. 20250601_133409.jpg
