Finally!

I can't say that I'm impressed with the service from the Australian distributor. I ordered this and a FEYNLAB t-shirt back on the 11th of July. On the 24th of July, I emailed asking for progress..................crickets. On the 29th of July I emailed again, this time directly to the company owner and was then replied to saying they had no stock of the t-shirts and were waiting for more to arrive. Um, if they were out of stock, why let customers order them? Or why not send me a curtesy email, or even respond to my first email? I mean, I the shirt was only added to make the shipping cost worthwhile. In the end, they refunded me the cost of the shirt and sent out the detailer via express post.

At the end of the day, I was understanding of why the shipping had been delayed, I know they don't want orders sitting around waiting on stock. But why not a quick email to let me know this instead of worrying my order had been lost in the post. Communication is key!

Sounds like the last place I worked, everything is in stock, even when it isn't. And of course they take the money out of your account straight away. We would adjust stock levels to be correct, and someone would mysteriously put it back in so it showed up as available online, very frustrating for us, looking for stock that wasn't there.

The older boy worked at Home Depot designing kitchens and such and said their inventory system was an absolute joke. It didn't update in real time as sales were made and even big ticket kitchen appliances, cabinets, sinks, etc couldn't be counted on to actually be there so he had to physically roam the store looking in the overhead sections, warehouse, etc looking to confirm stuff for a job was there before he would quote it, although management WANTED him to quote it and write it up regardless, and then deal with the fallout when it couldn't be delivered

He said the inventory on small items was much worse because of the amount of theft

Lowe's isn't any better, and between the 2 stores saying "yup we got it" on line and driving there to find out they don't, or frequently simply can't locate, the items

All in all, very frustrating
